    @Richard

    I think you will wait in vain. :-) It’s TNT, the cable channel which only thinks inside of the box. And really, never got the men’s fascination of seeing two straight women/characters making out etc. Gross. Then again I don’t even get how they can sit down watching a Victoria Secret show when they have that and more on the web… ;-)

  • Josh

    Does anybody know the ratings for Hot in Cleavland and Happily Divorced?

    @Josh

    I haven’t found them anywhere. Are you sure they were on?

  • Avery16

    SoA was amazing on Tuesday. I just don’t get how anyone can say it was horrible. Maybe there weren’t enough bangs in the 90 minutes? Everyone know that the show has at least 7 seasons, and the finale did exactly what a finale is supposed to do, it set things up for the following season. There are so many storylines and directions the show can go now. What happens to Tara? Does Clay get out of jail and try to get revenge on the Sons? What’s the backlash of killing Pope going to be? Where does Donal Logue’s retired Marshall come in to play now? This was such a great finale and every drama on TV could learn a thing or two in how to write a proper finale from watching this and BOARDWALK EMPIRE.

    Sons of Anarchy has just become too silly and over the top. The actors seem bored of their roles, and I can’t blame them. There are almost no characters that you end up caring about. The stories just repeat themselves. And frankly the whole idea of this one black gangster that runs the entire world is kind of difficult to buy into. Does anyone actually care what happens to tara? Or if Clay will get revenge on the other Sons? Or who the next bad guy will be and how they kill him? I liked this show for the first two seasons, but I don’t even recognize it any longer. Still, I am glad for its fans that it did well.

    @Josh,

    Hot in Cleveland and Happily Divorced air on Wednesday.

    I have a question. Maybe someone can tell me; I watch American horror Story but I don’t get home until late on Wed so i watch it at 10. Not 9. I watch SOA too. At 10. Ok…So SOA is on three times. AHS is on twice. I am just talking about non repeats. If you add up SOA it has a 2.4 and a .7. American Horror Story has 1.5 and 1.0. and .9 So how does that work? Is the real rating the added up version? like 3.1 for SOA, and 3.4 for AHS? I don’t entirely understand….after all neither could be considered a rerun as its the first time its on that week…just at different times of day… Does anyone even understand what I am saying?

  • Martine

    I meant SOA is on twice and AHSis on three times, the non reruns that is…but is it the added up amount that counts? After all its not really a rerun. Its people coming and seeing them for the first time just at different times of the day…

    @Elliemae

    Which may be why American Pickers, (along with Hoarders) is one of the most real “reality show” on tv. It would be very hard to duplicate/fake the places that Mike and Frank have been to.

  • Gleebo

    Been a fan on SOA since the beginning and the first half of this season was probably the best it has been since S2. I think they maybe went with too many shocking moments and deaths early in the season that made it seem so much more intense than the second half of the season.

    This last episode didn’t do much for me but it was much better than the let down from S4′s finale. Everything hit the fan the episode before it and made it feel like an unnecessary tack on after it. Since they did order an extra episode than what was originally planned it made sense that it felt a little superfluous.

    Since they planned on 7 Seasons I think that next year will possibly be a little more even since they are closer to whatever the end game is. I think setting a definitive end date for Lost was a fantastic decision and it gave the writers and producers a better focus. Season 2 and 3 had some great individual episodes but overall they were kind of all over the place. Trying to introduce new characters(Tailies) to give them more fodder to kill off cost them a lot of viewers. Casual fans gave up because of the complexity of the plot trying to add more questions faster than they could be answered.

    Hopefully the final two seasons of SOA will do the same thing.

    So alot of people aere right whn they said DWTS hurt R and I last week. This week it is up alot in viewers and up in the demo as well. It was a pretty good episode on Tuesday night.

  • silvit

    @David

    I don’t think they are right at all. It was more that NCIS:LA wasn’t on imo. And FYI, the complete numbers tell another story.

    While it was way up in viewers compared to last week, the demo went up only a little (120000 viewers) which is ridiculous for an increase of 1,3 million total viewers. And in the 18-34 demo, it actually went down this week. It just added a lot of 55+ older viewers which are completely meaningless.

    The quality of an episode has nothing to do with how many people watched it, since they don’t know beforehand how it will be.

  • silvit

    And FYI, Leverage did the same. It added a lot of viewers, but all its demos (18-35, 18-49, 25-54) remained the same. They were the same 55+ old viewers that tuned into the show this week.
