The show is going to get to 100. I see at least two more seasons.

Wait, you have an edit option? Why can’t we have the same?

  • Melissa

Melissa, Beauty no longer has a 0.7 average as its gotten three or four 0.6s.The reason people say Hart is safe is because Beauty lost more than half it’s audience of its audience from the pilot by episode three and Likley come Jan and spring, loose more viewers while Hart has been again stable at 0.5-0.6.Beauty is already getting lower ratings than Nikita and Secret Circle in that timeslots and just like Nikita & SC has low retention out of VD.Plus,Hart will closer to syndication.

Did you bother to read the comment? Do you know how to calculate an average? Beauty and the Beast has received a 1.2, two 0.7s, and four 0.6s. If you add all those numbers up and divide them by how many telecasts there’ve been (7), the average is a 0.71. As I said in my original comment, even if Beauty and the Beast gets four more 0.6s, the average will still be a 0.7. Go ahead and calculate it. Your Retentionista arguments are useless.

Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.

happy with the adjustment for parenthood gload the new normal stayed steady.

How’s 9:30 a “protected” time slot when most of the big networks are already running their shows, and even cable, and even hispanic channels! TNN has to compete with everything at that time. Put it at 9, after The Voice, or any other hit, and watch it make better ratings until it becomes a hit itself.

  • forg

With a better lead in (or earlier timeslot?) Parenthood could be regularly in 2s, anyway the show is a survivor :)

Shark Tank did fine actually. If it was at 9 PM I bet it could have pulled 2s

@Honey Badger best actors on television? are you kidding me? Flop of Dixie always gets adjusted down, it should be canceled otherwise they´ll have to keep 2 more seasons and see how is working for them with Nikita.

Monday, Tuesday and Friday are a disaster for the cw

    @ Bill Gorman

“On NBC, I like Parenthood for the early crater and yank.”
Ah yes, the old springtime wild guesses with no data.
You can see why I don’t do those any longer!

This is the first season that Bill Gorman didn’t make a wild guess.
Bill Gorman’s informed and educated guess for the first show to be cancelled during the 2011-2012 season was Grimm, which aired on October 28, 2011, a full month after the broadcast season already began.

Fanboy type shows such as Grimm, X-Files, Fringe, and Supernatural just don’t last long on Friday either.

An earlier time slot might work better for TNN, but I’m not sure if NBC will move it.

  • Alan

I can’t believe that EO M.D. was cancelled over HOD just because HOD’s ratings are slightly better than M.D.’s

  • Honey Badger

@ Nick, I like your thinking, It has been a very bad year for doctor shows on television!!!!!

Seems like the Cancellation Bear appetite for TV Doctors was more than the poor bear can handle. There was a lot of doctors on the shows the Cancellation Bear devoured: When you add all the doctors from The Mob Doctor, Emily Owens MD, Animal Practice and Private Practice, the Cancellation Bear has finally met its match.
And I have a tip the Cancellation Bear it is heading over to The Mindy Project and all their doctors.
It has been a very bad year for doctor shows !!!!!

CW will renew Hart Of Dixie, the Cancellation Bear on Twitter via @TheCancelBear, will not go after any more doctor shows, it needs a balanced diet.
Plus On Hart Of Dixie The mayor of Bluebell has a gaint pet alligator named Burt Reynolds, and the Cancellation Bear would not want any part of that.

Nice for the NBC comedies, but series low for Raising Hope

And I agree with Honey Badger. If The Cancellation Bear eats HOD, that’ll make 5 doctor shows this year: TMD, Emily Owens, Private Practice, and Animal Practice are the other 4. By May, the Bear will be vomiting up stethescopes!

  • HotLatino4GayMarriage

HoD gets adjusted down… Yet again! What a surprise!

  • Honey Badger

The Mindy Project is begging for cancellation. , It has been a very bad year for doctor shows on television!!!!! The Mob Doctor, Emily Owens MD, Animal Practice and Private Practice have all been canceled.

And the Mindy Project does this.
The Mindy Project notched a 1.3, down two tenths from last week’s 1.5 adults 18-49 rating
    FOX 9:00PM New Girl 2.0 18-49 Rating 4.143 Viewers Live+SD (million)
    FOX 9:30PM The Mindy Project 1.3 18-49 Rating 2.632 Viewers Live+SD (million)

The Mindy Project is begging for the Cancellation Bear

  • Honey Badger

I predict ” Nashville ” will hit a low for the ratings tonight. get the Cancellation Bear ready, ABC will cancel this show

  • Networkman

Shark Tank performed decently going up against The Voice and the holiday favorite Rudolph. For it go garner similar ratings to what it receives on Friday night against stronger competition is great. I feel it would have done better if aired in the 9pm slot against the NCIS repeat and the weaker comedies. It may have been able to crack 2.0 ABC needs to consider revamping their Tuesday night effective immediately. The network could of consider airing a repeat of the OUAT midseason finale which aired on Sunday. That was a great episode and it could of pulled high 1’s to low 2’s and then aired Shark Tank @9pm.

“I can’t believe that EO M.D. was cancelled over HOD just because HOD’s ratings are slightly better than M.D.’s’

To paraphrase a line from the movie “Clueless”: Trying to make sense of the CW’s actions is as useless as searching for meaning in a Pauly Shore movie.

  • ragincajun

Victoria Secret beat The Voice!!!!! :-)

Please ABC, keep Shark Tank on Fridays. It won’t do well with competition.
