Definitions:
Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live football game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.
Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.
Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)
Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

Go HOD!
Is New Girl still considered a hit anyway? :S
@dougf
Thank you for saying that… Those numbers are way too high for HOD
Victoria Secret fashion show wins the night? How brassiere….um I mean bizarre.
OMG, it annoys me whats happening to Happy Endings, its such a good show, everyone should be watching this show! ugh, and what has happened to New Girl, last year wasnt its Demo like a 4.5 now its barely a 2.0? i just love The Mindy Project, its such a funny show, and Ben and Kate is pretty funny, Raising Hope is soo good, prolly the best season yet.
Hart of Dixie steady as ever. That is why it will he renewed for another season.
HOD will be renewed
Hart of Dixie half hours?
I didn’t think anything could be worse than Meredith’s whiny narration on Grey’s Anatomy, but Coop’s fourth-wall-breaking turn on Private Practice was the WORST! If not for those smug morons on Happy Endings, it would have been the worst show of the night!
Thankfully, the Fox sitcoms made up for it, disappointing though the numbers may be.
Lol, I wonder how many guys tuned in to watch the Secret Fashion Show. I didn’t.
Just noticed Modern Family is a repeat tonight, watch Suburgatory tank
Happy Ending and Apt 23 need to be addressed by ABC. Perhaps they can pull them and try out something new for a few weeks. Dreadful numbers.
No way to spin it HoD ratings are not good, move it to Friday next year or cancel it
“it i smore likely that Ben and Kate is renewed than Mindy.”
That’s fan fantasy talk right there. At current ratings levels the chance that happens is 0%.
Fox is dead!!!
Ben & Kate and The Mindy Project must go!
Maybe the old lineup should return, launching a new show at 9pm on thursday!
The X Factor and American Idol one must go to next season!
@TV Gord – at least Coop only narrated one episode. Whiny Meredith narrates the majority of Grey’s episodes.
Yikes, The Mindy Project. I enjoyed last night’s episode too. Look like The Mindy Project will be joining The Neighbors as the main course for the Cancellation Bear. I will miss them both.
The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is for people who like watching half naked women to drool over. I turned the channel after after five seconds of that inanity.
I watched Go On, Emily and The Victoria Secret Fashion Show and enjoyed all of them (except frigging Justin Beaver).
Shark Tank really shouldn’t come out of its Friday slot. It won’t get higher ratings.
Sad night for FOX. Seems like its hedging all its bets this time on Kevin Bacon’s, The Following. Hope it succeeds.
Go on is doing great but returns only on jan 8 .. one month hiatus and without a voice lead will it survive??
Wow, I don’t think many people if anyone thought Raising Hope would be in second place of the 4 comedies…
