Wednesday broadcast ratings have been posted here! Cable and Cable News posts are here and here. Sorry for the delay everyone!
UPDATE 2: Looks like final ratings for last night will be released Friday (tomorrow) morning. See you then!
UPDATE 1: So we just got word that Fast Affiliate Ratings and Final National Ratings for Wednesday, December 5 will not be available at all today. Which means no Preliminary, Cable, Cable News or Final Ratings posts. According to our source, an update from Nielsen should be coming in the next hour, and any new information we get from that will be posted here. Apologies again, everyone!
Fast Affiliate Ratings for Wednesday, December 5, 2012 are delayed due to processing issues. We're not sure when they'll be coming in, but if we get an update or an ETA from Nielsen we'll let you know. We'll also update this post with a link to the overnight report once they do come in. Sorry!

@Fake Me Out
Then I read the last paragraph, I realise your joking
Computers must be really jammed up to take this long!
I know what’s holding up the ratings. Nielsen is scratching its head trying to figure out how an hour worth of a TV show on the CW only scored two million viewers and a rating of 1.0 while the previews for its next episode (airing on January 16) had a viewership of 10 millions and a demo of 5.0.
Because all everyone is talking about in the SPN fandom right now is that God damn preview.
@THE OLD MAN
I had a great day, boss is on my tail now ordering me to fix stuff I should’ve fixed two days ago when I was chatting on this site instead, like right now.
I’m beginning to think something really went wrong and that Nielsen wasn’t even able to compile ratings for last night (December 5th).
This could be a multi-day problem.
@Tessa
Haha. That promo was the real midseason cliffhanger.
Bummer. I really wanted how the ABC line up did with MF on repeat
@Restless and Tessa
I completely agree. Promo was awesome and the real cliffhanger. Dying to see more of Amanda Tapping after the disaster of last night’s episode. I couldn’t care about ratings less.
I must actually be thankful to Nielsen today for not giving out today’s ratings. I have this stupid exam tomorrow. Had ratings been out, I would have wasted(enjoyed rather!) all my time here without actually studying for the test. Am also being addicted to IMDB board these days.
I am at least happy that I prepared something for the test now.
@Tessa
Completely agree with you once in a long time. Most of friends tell me “Get a life, Dude!”, once they come to know me caring about Supernatural too much and even posting on message boards. But I always tell them that they don’t really know and can’t even understand the fun of discussing TV shows and politics on message boards.
I just want SPN’s ratings. Nothing else matters.² … Me too!!
Ratings delay must be the Mayan apocalypse starting to hit a little early.
@Honey Badger – Amanda works at Acme Laboratories…
…as does David Spade, Ed O’Neill, and Christina Aguilerra…
…all pawns of a certain rodent, whose motto is (say it with me, everybody!)…
…the same thing we do EVERY night, Pinky – try to take over the world!!!
Computers are certainly trying to understand how Supernatural got a 6.0 and 30 million viewers =P renewed for ten more seasons
@CrimTV
Supernatural – 9.1
Arrow – 16.4
Lol, I obviously know you’re joking, but a scripted show hasn’t equaled or exceeded 16.4 since Grey’s Anatomy notched a 16.5 after the 2006 Superbowl.
Maybe they were delayed today because i heard on Deadline a week or two ago that New York would not be included in the November ratings but they were hoping to start including the ratings from New York in December. So, maybe that is why they are delayed because they want to have thoughs included.
If I was running Nielsen, the ratings would be available. Don’t forget to watch The New Normal on NBC. Bloop!
So is Thursday ratings going to be affected by this?
Arrow was very good last night. Hoping for a 1.1 or higher!!
Shows & twitter: I like two shows Revenge and Person of Interest.
I never tweet about POI but love the show. Revenge has more twitter followers so I will sometimes tweet about an exciting plot.
I am not a Nielsen viewer so I can’t help either show but I did get someone to watch POI who had never seen it and loved it…again not a nielsen person. I have never met a nielsen viewer, I always wondered how that works,what is their system for who gets to become a VIP.
Hmmm… I thnk you’re underestimating Supernatural, it’s sure to get at least a 15.2!
But since Nielsen always underestimates our true viewership I’m going to predict:
Arrow 1.2
Supernatural 1.0
@CrimTV
You mean Better off Ted? I miss that show!
