@redbarsoup, I think the same of the MSNBC shows.
http://www.time.com/time/health/article/0,8599,2070503,00.html#
@mark2 Why don’t you add Saturday Night Live into your comments. It’s has great ratings. And they have a comedy news show too.
sorry the article is almost 2 yrs. old
@redbarsoup
It’s not scary that the Mayans pinpointed out the alignment. Don’t you know we are all aliens! We all dumbed down for a few thousand years, then we get smart again. Isn’t that as good of a story as anything else you have heard.
@Cathy
I think the same of the MSNBC shows.
No crap? I’m not even arguing with you on that.
And they have a comedy news show too.
You’r logic is dumb, that’s a SKIT on a show.
Why would you NOT consider Colbert and Stewart to 90% of Fox News, 90% of Fox News is opinion/entertainment shows, Fox News themselves recognizes that. Fox News does consider Megyn Kelly as news, but I’ve seen her show, IT IS NOT. Not when she handpicks the stories THEN is a 2 on 1 the Democrat/liberal shout fest.
Don’t you know we are all aliens! We all dumbed down for a few thousand years, then we get smart again. Isn’t that as good of a story as anything else you have heard.
Annndddd you go back to being a crazy nut.
I have to agree with Mark on this one. He hit it right on the head.
Yes, most of these cable news shows are “entertainment” shows just like The Colbert Report and The Daily Show.
The Ed Show: check
The O’Reilly Factor: check
Hannity: check
The Last Word: check
On The Record: check
Hardball: check
Politics Nation: check
The Five: check
The Rachel Maddow Show: Rachel she has a point of view, but she does deal in facts.
The Fox Report: Shep keeps things on the up and up.
OutFront: Erin is fair.
Anderson Cooper 360: Fair
Pier Morgan: Leans left, slightly. Be he’s relatively fair, too.
@1966
Don’t google the the alignment because most sites are totally wrong. I believe NASA has the right information. Or check out the Caltec site. Better yet check out the Spitzer Science Center site.
Redbarsoup is wrong again. He really need to learn to check reliable sites.
What the scientist are expecting to occur on Dec 21 is that the Sun will align with the center of the Milky Way Galaxy.
@Cathy
mercury, venus and saturn will lie roughly along a line along with the center of the MWG. How was I wrong again? Oh wait, I wasn’t.
@redbar
I’ve watched Colbert of years. You can’t compare it to O’Reilly, Hannity, or Rachel. Colbert makes fun of everyone and no one thinks they are watching news. People think they are watching news although they may be mistaken and none of O,H or R are funny.
LOL, You really couldn’t see the joke about the aliens. Well, you believe that using google will find you the right answer.
@Kendall
I would DEFINITELY add Fox and Friends in there.
In my personal opinion I would also add in Megyn Kelly.
@Cathy
LOL, You really couldn’t see the joke about the aliens. Well, you believe that using google will find you the right answer.
The very first link when looking up “will the planets align on December 21st” is NASAs website…the same website you said will have the right information. You are a few fries short of a happy meal huh? lol
What kind of idiots watch Sharpton and Ed,who will have the guts to admit it!
@Mike
I know scary huh? Just as scary as someone that watches Hannity….maybe even scarier.
Kendall ,
“The Fox Report: Shep keeps things on the up and up.”
I actually trust him more than the others.
@RedBarSoup
Wow!!! Yeah…I can’t believe I forgot about Fox and Friends. It’s one of the WORST…right up there with Glenn Beck!!! I’m so glad that lunatic GB is off the airways. Keith Olbermann flew off the rails, too.
You know what…all of the bomb-throwers (Olbermann, Beck, O’Reilly, Shultz, Hannity, Sharpton) should be located on the premium channels like Bill Maher.
@Dreamer
“The Fox Report: Shep keeps things on the up and up.”
I actually trust him more than the others.
I know, isn’t it sad that the two REAL news shows on Fox News in the primetime slot are the LOWEST watched shows? By the ratings, it actually seems like people watch the Five for their “news” entertainment/opinion show they then skip OVER the two REAL news shows on FN then come back to FN at 8:00 for Oreilly. Just seems to me like the Fox News watchers don’t even want real news, they just want to hear what they want to hear and hear fabrications from Fox News talking heads. But then you have MSNBC at primetime…which IMO is 100% NOT news.
Shep has gained a little.

for you cathy.
@red So when you say the planets will align, everyone should know that you mean 3 planets will align? You said the PLANETS, you didn’t say three plants. So, yes you were wrong.
When scientist speak of Planet alignment, it means all of the planets.
