    I’m not surprised by the drop in the Vampire diaries as the past couple of episodes has turned me off the show as well! After all the teasing with Elena and dameon it is then reveled they can’t be together as they are sired even though she liked him before she became a vampire, its just if he tells her to do something she will… but the feelings are real…. I was for god stake, just let them be together!!!!!! Plus Stefan is just even more annoying then usual PLUS they’ve made Caroline into a brat who sucks up to Stephan even though she is suppose to be Elena’s friend…. Fix up this mess TVD writers!

  • Josh

    Plus Grey fans whatever and shhh. POI and Greys are to complete different shows and are aimed at two different demos and age groups. So trying to compare them is stupid. Good on POI for having such a increase in viewers in its 2nd season. Growing rapidly :)

    —–I’m sure when Grey’s was pulling 9.5s in the demo nobody was expecting its numbers to one day be 3.0s.

    I think by 2015, even CBS will have renew shows under a 2.0. Big Bang will probably be the highest rated show still managing to pull a 4.0.—–

    OMG pull yourself together and just see the 4.2 greys had for the season 9 premiere THIS YEAR… They re introducing new blood in the show this year and i am happy with all the new additions ..Latest episode was totally focused on the new people in greys anatomy and it still managed to beat its competition…

    Greys anatomy lost a lot of core cast members during the years… And it survived and instead of being boring recycling things it feels fresh and awesome.

    As for ur comparison with big bang theory , big bang theory is a sitcom. not a drama.and for its first season big bang theory averaged 8.3 million viewers and greys anatomy 21 million viewers..do your math .

    You are about to repeat a mistake that SJ committed in 2011. You wrote that everybody in this website doesn’t know that the tv week begins on Monday. I knew that the TV week begins on a Monday. Melissa is wrong about that. I made a comment on this website where I estimated the effect that hosting a previous Superbowl had on Fox’s season ratings. If Melissa visited this website before I wrote that comment, she just repeated SJ’s mistake.

    Lol, it was obviously an exaggeration; get over yourself.

    Actually Grey’s Anatomy got a 4.4 for the season nine premiere! :-) And yeah, people seem to forget how Grey’s Anatomy got consistent 9′s and 10′s for about two and a half seasons in its prime – The Big Bang Theory has never approached those numbers.

    @ rob60990

    My source is The Complete Directory to Prime Time Network & Cable TV Shows 1946-Present

    The top 20 shows is exactly the same as listed on Gunsmoke Rules, so it’s more than likely HH & not 18-49

  • THE OLD MAN

    @ melissa

    No, you’re the one with the problem reading comments & you have no competition where writing ignorant responses is concerned.

  • LoriB196

    Happy to see X-Factor and Glee were adjusted up! : )

    Why don’t you get over yourself?

    Are you the only one allowed to exaggerate? You obviously think you are entitled.

    There’s no sense really responding to you, because I doubt you actually read my comments.

    Lol, bye! You wrote me some long paragraph about how I offended you because I wrote that no one on this site knows when the TV week starts. Don’t claim the paragraph you wrote to me was purposely an exaggeration, because that’s possibly the biggest load of BS I’ve ever heard.

  • Martine

    Greys and POI are the same. Especially given the accuracy of the polling. I doubt Greys gets one extra dollar of advertisement revenue for the one tenth. No one is going to pay more for having their commercial on a show that is one tenth higher, especially given the difference in overall viewers( which I am sure is an added selling point no matter what people say, just not a solid one), and isn’t that the whole point?

  • Martine

    EVERYBODY KNOWS THE TV WEEK IS AS OF MONDAY. Sorry for shouting. But everyone knows.

  • tv_viewer

    @Melissa

    You wrote some BS too. At least SJ didn’t defend his comments as an exaggeration. SJ may be many things but at least he didn’t claim he has special entitlements like you do. You are one of the worst posters around who claims she can do stuff but others can’t.

  • POIFanatic

    @Martine: No, Grey’s gets higher ad dollars than POI since it has a high 18-34 demo rating.

  • Jackson

    Scandal is REALLLY building, its social media buzz is really going up.. did anyone catch the Oprah special all about SCANDAL and SHONA RHIMES? i am sure oprahs huge endorsment of the show from the hour long special and all her tweets/facebook posts about it… will only help to build it more. Forget revegnge vs scandal…. i think by the end of the season scandal will be outperforming its lead in GA

  • tv_viewer

    The Big Bang Theory bested Grey’s Anatomy as usual.

    I suggest seeking medical help, because you make no sense. I don’t know who SJ is, nor do I care, but I don’t see how he/she has to do with anything. I wrote that everyone on this site is obviously oblivious to the fact that the TV week begins on a Monday, because several posters were implying so in the earlier comments. When someone says “everyone”, they’re clearly exaggerating. It’s not an entitlement, it’s just a form of speech.

    As for your second comment, that was possibly the dumbest thing I’ve ever read on this site. Obviously The Big Bang Theory beat Grey’s Anatomy as usual; their ratings are so far apart that the two are never compared, nor in any sort of competition.

    @Jackson

    i think by the end of the season scandal will be outperforming its lead in GA

    Lol, you just keep holding onto that dream kid.

  • tv_viewer

    @Melissa

    You need medical help. You started comparing shows with Grey’s Anatomy. I have every right to compare shows with Grey’s Anatomy. You still have an entitlement problem.

  • KellyG

    Glad about POI and Scandal. I really like those shows. Can see why Elementary is lagging. Don’t like Glee anymore. X Factor is not for me. Love Big Bang Theory and POI my favorites. Glad they are up there pretty secure.

  • TallDerek

    I am not at all surprised that Glee is in 3rd place on a Thursday night at 9pm. It’s so not the right time slot for the kind of show it is.
    If FOX wanted to make Tuesday a full comedy night, (and Glee is sort of
    a musical comedy) they should have thought more about the competition it would face. Nobody can beat Grey’s on a Thursday. Glee should have been moved to Mondays or Wedensdays, and if not then Thursday at 8pm. So many options yet the worst one was selected.
