Scandal has done good for fall season doesn’t mean it’s guaranteed renewal. Come Spring we’ll see I bet it will be though. 2011 was a good year for Dramas

    OUAT, Revenge, Scandal, POI, Grimm

With no Revolution or CSI, I believe Scandal is the #1 scripted show of the week? That’s amazing for a show that’s been constantly bashed since September…

The stupidity comes from you. If you bothered to read Rob’s comment, you would see that he is referring to the 18–34 demo, where Grey’s Anatomy does have a much bigger number than Person of Interest.

  • Stormy44

I knew that Scandal would not adjust down this week—especially after I saw the half hour numbers for the show out of the number of viewers for GREYS. And as I expected, pulling out the football numbers had a big impact on the CBS final demos. I’m like Nate Silver in that I look at the numbers and Scandal has been trending up for weeks. It was a little at first but it was obvious that it was soon going to burst out if you just analyzed the numbers.

    Remember this day folks…

When both shows return after the break, you are going to see a dramatic shift. REVENGE will continue to bring in very low 2’s and then high 1’s due to breaks for award shows and such.

Meanwhile, SCANDAL will receive some proper promotion from ABC and media outlets and this rating will hold or even go up a tenth or two.

The days of the never was, never is, and never would be hit REVENGE are over and the steady as rock real performer in SCANDAL are in.

    go kill yourself

  • Cyrax86

Whoops I obviously meant “#1 10 pm scripted show of the week”! ;)

  • Melissa

    Also, it’s 2012, not 2011…

  • Michael

Max, you’re very entertaining! Let him have his fun, and gloat!

I’m not worried about Elementary. If you she the initial ratings for the first 10 episodes of every tv show you can see it’s always mixed and low, then after winter break they shoot up!

I am sick of all the pessimism in the comments. They won’t get canned when they have a superbowl episode to prepare for, and also a huge back order. CBS have a lot of faith in the show! It’s also winning the DVR +3 day ratings, so people who are saying Elementary is getting canceled can just shut up.

    lol POI never beat Greys

Glee number 1 scripted show on Fox

    great Sacandal

  • Mon

POI adjusted down 0.3. This should shut up that annoying POI fan. I like POI but his posts about how great POI is get on my nerves everytime. Just a reminder, not all who like POI are as crazy as him.

Im amazed Scandal didnt adjust down at all. Maybe its finding a audience after all.

  • tommy

    Scandal kick Revenge ass

  • Melissa

I retract my second comment, as I assume you are referring to 2011 drama premieres.

Sad for BATB. The show is improving all the time, last night’s ep was extremely well done, and the promo for the mid-season finale next week looks like it could be something light and very nice to keep us fans happy over the winter hiatus.

  • rob60990

The poster SonoftheBronx on Marc Berman’s website usually posts the 18-34s but so far nothing tonight but last week Grey’s got a 2.7 while POI got a 1.3.

  • aciel

im not surprised that scandal didnt adjust down because people wanted to know who the shooter and it wasnt revealed till the end of the episode i think that it was a smart idea of shonda to hold that till the end of the episode. thats a good way to hold your audience for the whole hour

What Max has been saying is starting to look legit. The 2 shows are going in opposite directions. I know this is the first time Scandal beat Revenge but it wasn’t even close before. Revenge use to get 2.7 and above and Scandal was around 2.0. Now look at it. I know Max has been getting on everyones nerves but the truth is the truth. It is what it is.

And so we learn that Denver is such a big market that it can adjust down TBBT and the rest of the lineup. Oakland is such a small market that it did not affect ABC. Who would have thought?

Hasn’t TBBT been up-ticked despite football before, like 0.3?
