Definitions:

Fast Affiliate Ratings: These first national ratings, including demographics, are available at approximately 11 AM (ET) the day after telecast, and are released to subscribing customers daily. These data, from the National People Meter sample, are strictly time-period information, based on the normal broadcast network feed, and include all programming on the affiliated stations, sometimes including network programming, sometimes not. The figures may include stations that did not air the entire network feed, as well as local news breaks or cutaways for local coverage or other programming. Fast Affiliate ratings are not as useful for live programs and are likely to differ significantly from the final results, because the data reflect normal broadcast feed patterns. For example, with a World Series game, Fast Affiliate Ratings would include whatever aired from 8-11PM on affiliates in the Pacific Time Zone, following the live baseball game, but not game coverage that begins at 5PM PT. The same would be true of Presidential debates as well as live award shows and breaking news reports.

Rating: Estimated percentage of the universe of TV households (or other specified group) tuned to a program in the average minute. Ratings are expressed as a percent.

Share (of Audience): The percent of households (or persons) using television who are tuned to a specific program, station or network in a specific area at a specific time. (See also, Rating, which represents tuning or viewing as a percent of the entire population being measured.)

Time Shifted Viewing – Program ratings for national sources are produced in three streams of data – Live, Live+Same Day (Live+SD) and Live+7 Day. Time shifted figures account for incremental viewing that takes place with DVRs. Live+Same Day (Live+SD) include viewing during the same broadcast day as the original telecast, with a cut-off of 3:00AM local time when meters transmit daily viewing to Nielsen for processing. Live+7 Day ratings include incremental viewing that takes place during the 7 days following a telecast.

@episode was great the best episode this season.

@POI had a great episode last night.

Never expect less from that show. The bar is so high really see troble in seasons ahead. People will expext the same quality and storyline every week. Very hard to do it.

  • Emma

I love both Revenge and Scandal and I don’t see why they are viewed as being in competition. I’d love to see both shows get higher ratings. I’d actually love to see them paired on Sundays but I know it won’t happen.

  • rob60990

“It’s funny how I keep saying that Parks will be back, yet it is only getting a 0.1 ratings point higher than Wednesday’s Guys with Kids despite GWK facing direct competition from ABC and having a worse lead in.”

Guys With Kids is in its 1st season while Parks is in its 5th so Parks has a better chance at renewal to get more episodes for syndication.

  • Jared

Scandals on fire. I wouldn’t count that show out just yet.

  • Mi

The CW can still switch between Cult and B&tB, there are still 2 months till Cult premieres and that’s plenty of time..
B&tB is already at 0.5 and will reach at least 0.4 by the end of this seaosn.

  • Jorge

Isn’t that a series high for Scandal?

  • Brandy

Oh no at B& tB! VD down but it might adjust up,hope so.I really like B& tB and wish it was doing better.

  • Oliver

    @TVDude

Parks has not been sold into syndication yet. I suspect NBCUniversal are waiting until next year: Parks will have 100 episodes and the syndication market is unusually busy this season (Modern Family, Hot in Cleveland, The Middle, Community, The Cleveland Show) compared with next season (Raising Hope, Mike & Molly, Anger Management).

    @Ike
Re: 666PA….yeah, it is weird it’s taking a fall/winter break since it has been cancelled, but there are still four episodes left to air of the 13 and they’ll air on all the Sundays in January. Maybe ABC has other stuff planned for the Sundays remaining in December. I don’t know about Revenge since I don’t follow it, but OUAT isn’t back until January either….so maybe they’ve got some movies or specials coming. I’m just glad I’ve got two more Sundays of Bob’s Burgers before it’s off for a couple weeks, lol.

  • Dóchas

Does anyone know the series high and the series low for Grey’s? I only watched sporadically and stopped all together when they killed off both Lexie and Mark.

  • Oliver

The ratings of new shows tend to be less stable than veterans. It’s more likely that Guys With Kids will fall further than Parks as the season goes along.

Just look towards Up All Night and Whitney last season.

  • THE OLD MAN

    CBS 3.4 > FOX 2.3 > ABC 2.2 > UNI 1.5 > NBC 1.3 > CW 0.8

    WHAT A PHENOMINAL FEAT!

  • Winston Mize

HoD even demo with BatB & 90120 but more Viewers AND greter than both EOMD and GG….One small victory this week for BLUEBELL!

  • Andy

TVD dropped due to several causes: Tired love triangle, whinning vampire Elena, last week’s dreadful and boring episode, uninteresting new characters, storylines without direction. The first few episodes of the fourth season were awesome, but the quality has been going down.
B&tB deserves those ratings. The show is really boring and has zero appeal. Looks cheap and the show as a whole is cheesy. I can see the show being canceled, just as The Secret Flop was.
    —————————————————————————
Meanwhile, Glee has dropped because of its crappy lead-in, competitive time-slot, “The Rachel and Kurt Show” and faded hype. Otherwise, the new season is really good, especially with the new characters (Ryder, Kitty, Marley and Jake) :D

  • Zth

That’s a new season high for Two and a Half Men. And the last episodes were extremely funny, I’m sure it will continue to increase!

  • Party2nite

@Oliver.. yes, the big bang theory is crushing 30 Rock but it seems the decline in 30 rock has been happening over the last two years.. even before when it was not up against TBBT… Seems like 30 Rock was on fire for 4 years and then it just lost it’s audience in droves..

  • aciel

but didnt scandal at one point beat revenge last by like four tenths? and this season season it beat it by 1 tenth. they both now have the same amount of viewers im pretty it will adjust down to a 2.4 which is what revenge got last episode they both pretty much have the same rating as of now. but sadly revenge is dropping every week and scandal is improving so i dont what ratings they will get in the future only time will tell. i also expect scandal to be getting high ratings next week too because oprah is doing a show about scandal in 2 days which is a HUGE promotion for scandal

  • panda

    POI :)

  • Winston Mize

    *greater…got excited…

  • thesnowleopard

Hmm at TVD’s ratings. Though they’re not terribly shocking. The show has dropped a lot from year to year. It’s burned very hot for the CW, but shows that do that also tend to burn out fast.

Even so, I bet it’s in absolutely no danger of cancellation.
