  • Baaa!

Well Suburgatory didn’t collapse (not that I expected it too) with a MF repeat. However the repeat did well enough. Sub and TM ticked down as I expected, but it was worse than hoped. Not liking Sub moved back to 8:30 mostly due to the odd shift in content from the tame TM to more teen/adult Sub and back to more tame MF, but if it helps its ratings then I’m all for it.”I AM UNREAL!”

The Neighbors did pretty darn good considering it was on a night without Modern Family and it’s lead-in was down. The show is very consistent and I think it could be renewed next year (if it is though ABC would almost definitely move it’s time-slot). I love the show and I am thrilled to see it doing this well after all the hate it has been getting.

  • Mi

Arrow dropped because last week’s episode wasn’t good, but this week’s episode was one of the best yet.. I hope it goes up next week.

  • Ricardo

    Chicago Fire, is that you?

  • alejandro

    @ KS

Have to agree entirely about how bad this episode was! I’m just relieved it didn’t tie the season high of a 1.0 or worse still beat it :)

I too am very excited to see Tom and Frayed in January! What on earth has happened to poor Cas :s

  • hammard

Surprised at the 1.3 for Whitney and 1.1 for Arrow, I expected it to be the other way around. Then again the Huntress arc hasn’t been that strong.

  • OMG

Modern Family actually repeated well, I remembered its repeat just a few weeks ago pulling around 2.1.

Seems like Nashville has found its core fanbase, and this week being the lowest lead-in ever, it seems to be a good thing.

I am wondering if ABC is deliberately putting a repeat of Modern Family just to see if the rest of the night will tumble. It seems that the rest of the night, while down for ABC, is still quite alright. Is it possible that they might be trying to MOVE Modern Family to anchor another night, like *gasp* Tuesday?

  • Criminalcraft

Criminal Minds #1 show of the night!! Great episode

  • Wright

Very happy to see SPN up. Even though it’s down Arrow still did good too.

“I am wondering if ABC is deliberately putting a repeat of Modern Family just to see if the rest of the night will tumble.”

MF didn’t do a Christmas episode while the other comedies did, same as last year when they didn’t do a Halloween episode while the other comedies did. Of course they could have just aired another episode but they aired 1 last week and they are saving their 10th episode to lead into Baba’s 10 Most NON-Fascinating People.

  • LHR

Aww, hate that the middle and suburgatory are down. I’m sure suburgatory will be up again after a new modern family. Its really not down too much from last week, but still a season low. Svu is holding up well for a show that’s been on as long as it has. And the neighbors is as consistent as its humor. I really thought id hate the show, but its turned out to be a very welcomed surprise.

  • Mika

“Chris said NBC has had a few success stories this season and I think Guys with Kids is one of them, on a smaller scale. I hope they give that show a second season. It’s been very consistent despite poor lead ins. If the show can hold on, I would at least consider holding it for Fridays next year. They need to retool the show to focus more on Tempest Bledsoe (who needs to work more either way) and Anthony Anderson. They do a great job with any material given to them and are brought down by a dull supporting cast. The show only works if they have the A story.”

So agree with this and if GWK doesnt make it please give Tempest and Anthony their own show with the two little boys.

Nashville’s renewal is likely dependent on how ABC’s other dramas do.

NBC has got to do something about its terrible Wednesday schedule. It cannot expect to improve if it keeps renewing these low rated shows.

  • Joel

Knew Chicago Fire would be fine against Nashville! I look for it to pass it – in total viewers it already has. Nashville viewers must be happy it ticked up – I tried it and didn’t like it but happy for it’s viewers. It defintely is not the water cooler show it was promoted as though. I never hear anyone talk about it. Is it getting better or just treading water? Just curious if it’s getting better it will probably get a second season if not it’s on the downward slide. Was that it’s winter finale?

  • rob60990

I honestly think it will come down between Nashville vs. Red Widow.

  • rob60990

    “Was that it’s winter finale?”

    That was Nashville’s fall finale.

  • Hades

0.9 for SPN is good evn if the episode was meh. How predictable was that episode of SPN? We all knew Saint Dean would be right and Sam would be totally wrong again. Dean would be friends with the only monster in the history of the show to be a total pussycat.

  • SarahL

I want to like Nashville because of Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere, but the show is tedious and I don’t see any improvement so I am not surprised that its ratings have stayed low although steady.

  • SueP

I, for one, loved the ep of SPN. The whole Samelia story line is boring, but the Dean/Benny/Martin/Elizabeth storyline was great. Glad it did well. Looking forward to January!

These levels are nice for Nashville and CF
