AFI Announced its annual list of the 10 best TV programs of the year. Only one broadcast program, Modern Family, was honored. The other nine were popular cable programs including Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead.

Come Oscar time, I do feel that Skyfall has a really strong chance of being nominated for best picture. But I feel Argo may be the frontrunner for Best Picture. Its closest competitor may be LES MISÉRABLES. I’m surprised that The Hobbit was not considered in the top 10. Lastly, I’m not sure that Dark Knight Rises should be a nominee for Best Picture come Oscar time.
