Here’s a poll:
If an MSNBC listener finds a University study that says that Fox News listeners are less informed than those who don’t watch the news and they continually quote that study over and over again to somehow make some point and then it turns out that that study was completely false and the MSNBC viewer didn’t EVEN bother to find out any background about that study, and then on the other hand you have the Fox News watchers, who are supposed to be the dumb ones, search a little — not much — and find out that the study being touted as some kind of Bible of MSNBC watchers’ intellect is a hoax, who is the smarter more intellectual viewer:
___ 1. The MSNBC watcher (who’s REALLY, REALLY a laughingstock)
___ 2. The Fox News watcher (who’s REALLY, REALLY much more grounded and informed)
MSNBC watchers, this is a poll so you can only choose one answer. I know I don’t have to instruct Fox News watchers. They just know things like that without needing to be instructed.
Good morning, TCZA!!! :::waving:::
It’s been an interesting discussion around here. lol
I hope you’re having a great day.
Typical liberal response when knowing they are wrong……..no response and move on to the next attack.
Hiya BevAG! :::waving back:::
I read that you enjoyed your visit to Las Vegas. Ya know, I live about 4-1/2 hours from Las Vegas and have never been there (drove by, drove thru, but never stopped). Then again, I live an hour from the beach and 1-1/2 from Disneyland and don’t go to either of those places either.
Moncon,
And the next attack must include that someone was paid over $3000. Those are earth shattering numbers.
Fox “News” cable ratings are collapsing and MSNBC’s ratings are moving upward–especially true in the demo.
Well take care everyone. Gotta go for a post-op checkup.
I had LASIK back in July. Nowadays, its all laser technology (flap cut and corneal reshaping), so if anyone is thinking about it and come up with the funds, I highly recommend it! Cost me about $1800 per eye, $2000 covered by my insurance.
Sunshine and Ratboy
I have also not been on as much lately. I was on vacation before the election and my son, my daughter in law and two granddaughters have been in town since a week after the election. To top everything else off the ski slopes are open and it has been snowing. I would rather be on the slopes and playing with my grandaughters.
I agree with Sunshine’s comment about “buyers remorse”. But we would probably have buyers remorse if we elected Romney. Neither Political Party have a plan to solve the current problems because they solutions that they both have are Political solutions, they focus on policies to make their Political Party’s members popular for electability.
Taxing people for something that does not benifit them is Politically unfeasable. As the government tries to tax to pay for all of governments spending and pay the government debts they will find that it is a drag on the economy and they will no longer be popular. In the past they have solve this problem by borrowing instead of taxing. Eventually the people that are lending to the government, except for the Fed, will wise up to the Political borrowing. Eventually the European government will default or write down their debts just as governments in the past have been unable to recover from excesive debt. Eventually the federal government will also have to default. The benifits of the Federal government spending is history and someone has already profited from that spending. Balancing the budget and paying back the debt will be the buyers remorse.
Unfortunately the people that will be expected to pay off the debt never benifited from the spending nor remember what it was spent on.
After Watergate there were lots of regulations put in place on how much money people can contribute to politicians. It got real restricted. Limits were put in place. Every politician since Watergate, Rep and Dem, adhered to those restrictions until Obama’s first run for Presidency in ’08.
Obama sideswiped ALL the regulations put in place since Watergate so that he had no limits to the amount of money that could run through his campaign. As a result, he opened the floodgates again on how much money goes into campaigns. Everyone likes to act like it’s the Reps who did that, but it was Obama.
In the ’08 campaign, Obama sideswiping restrictions raised around 160 million and McCain raised around 68 million because he stayed within the regulations set up after Watergate. (I can’t remember the exact numbers. It’s been so long ago. But it’s way out of line what Obama did).
When you hear Rachael Maddow on an MSNBC commercial say, “A few years ago the limits were raised on how much money can be spent on elections,” she purposely leaves out the fact that Obama’s actions raised that limit. She leaves listeners, people like RedBarSoup, to think it was the Republicans who raised that ceiling.
Just another comment on an MSNBC watcher’s intellect.
Well isnt this nice!!! By the way, only 17% of Michigan workers are union! And you know what? after the bill passes……………..17% of Michigan workers will be union!!
Democrats threaten violence on Michigan House floor
“There will be blood,” State Representative Douglas Geiss threatened from the floor of the Michigan House of Representatives today as the body debated legislation that would make Michigan the nation’s 24th right to work state.
Hiya Ratty………Hope you are feeling better. Chiropractor?
I swear if any of my kids get remarried it better be to a chiropractor.
I need one in the family.
Oh and a dentist (coffee) and auto mechanic would do too.
@ Mt Rick
You may be right about the remorse but it’s the arrogance and the agenda of this one that really bothers me. ( new nick?)

Redbarsoap, you going to admit you got duped or just take the liberal way out and pretend you were right all along because you are intellectually superior( in your own mind of course).
@sunshine
hug him lightly he has a bad back.
@sunshine
Hugs may work better than chiropractic care…
Hopefully you’ll see a live Christmas tree prancing around with hanging ornaments from your window this season.
@Ratboy,
I live in Michigan. Fox news is even upsetting me on their coverage of this. They seem to be siding with the Unions.
First, did you know that the protesters are being paid to be in Lansing? Now, I can’t be sure that all of them are, but UAW told their members that they would pay everyone that showed up in Lansing. The UAW even paid for the buses.
Also four Michigan public schools closed today, so the teachers could go to Lansing.
Second, why isn’t anyone covering the fact that NOT ALL UNIONS ARE GOOD for all of their members. Example 1: I only wanted to work part time years ago when working at a Kroger store. I had to join the Union but the Union was pushing to eliminate part time jobs. I had to pay dues to a Union that was trying to get rid of the job I wanted. Many Unions get into a company and then don’t really work for their members. Example 2: A union comes in and promises to get you a $5 an hour raise, better health care and regular scheduling. So, you vote the Union in. After they are in place, they get you only .20 an hour and nothing else. The .20 doesn’t even cover the union dues. Example 3: New worker at Kroger and Meijer only make .10 above min wag, their schedule change every week, schedules aren’t posted until 6 hours before starting time, only get 24 hours at the most, no sick days, no vacation, you have to have a open schedule (they will not work around another job you may have, school, or doctor appointment.) For the two years that you work at the store once you take out your union dues you make last then min wage.
Third, Unions are in control now. The UAW can add to the next contract that non-union employees are to be paid less, non-union employees are the first to be laid-off. Heck, we just saw that the UAW can get drug users and drunks their jobs back. So, I don’t see people stop being members of the UAW. The UAW does give their workers job protection. So, if you believe the Union is helping you, you will still a member. If you quit the Union you have no protection.
Afternoon all.
I like most of you all have been busy with housework and Thanksgiving. Now will be busy with preps for Christmas.
My three Daughters are coming to town, to play in the Okla. University band at the Cotton Bowl on Jan 4. The third one is coming down to go to the game. January 4th will be quite as the Wife will also be going to the Game.
Supper will consist of fish and shrimp as the Wife and kids to not like the smell.
But on to the good stuff, low this morning was 27. Tonight the same. Light dusting of snow but was gone by 8am.
For those who might have missed this or have forgotten this:
