Rachel and Lawrence once again dominate over their fox counterparts in the key demo..luv seeing hannity fail the annoying blowhole
So Mark2 compares some random day from last year to this year and says that means something. You probably think the earth’s atmosphere is warming even though there has been no increase in 16 years. Don’t let the facts get in your way or you will be drummed out of the far left wing nut club.
Madcow is trying to muscle its way to the top of the ratings

Redbardope, the new suiko. Gets caught with his hand in the cookie jar but can’t own up to his goof.

@RATBOY the sad thing about the union protesters in Michigan is there are public school teachers involved in the protest. One can only hope that they are not taking part in the violence.
@DB “So Mark2 compares some random day from last year to this year and says that means something.”
No, actually I selected the same Monday closest to Dec 10th. The numbers were from Monday Dec 12, 2011. So it wasn’t random at all.
Face the facts, Fox News numbers have decreases drastically from last year during this same period and MSNBC numbers have increased exponentially since last year during this same period.
I know you Republicans don’t believe in Math and Science but the rest of the world does.
In terms of the union guy punching the Fox news person
1. it was stupid for the one person to do it(note I seen the video it’s not as they say protesterS, it was one protester)
2. that being said the Fox news guy was an idiot, he basically went there to try rile up a bunch of people then cries like a baby when one gets goated in and takes it to far by punching him
As for the tent thing, I have no issue with it I am sure the Koch brothers, oops I mean “Americans for Prosperity”(wink, wink) can afford another one.
As for the comment this never happens at a tea party just go to youtube and type tea Party violence you can find many examples of random idiots doing stupid things
here is a random example of such thing.

As for Glen beck, I guess more power to him if he can get people to pay to listen to him, doesn’t make any difference to the fact anything he says is usually a load of BS. I think more then anybody else(hell Beck makes Rush looks legit and Rush is one of the worst of the bunch) Beck is the perfect example of what is starting to be referred to as the right wing industrial media complex that basically goes out of it’s way to pander to people on the far right to make a buck. it seems alot of people on the right have figured out their is a huge market selling books, doing speeches and in beck’s case selling his radio show to a bunch of people without any regard to reporting actual facts. Let’s face it alot of people on both sides probably could be labelled snake oil salesmen and charlatans, but the right wing definitely is miles ahead in this regard.

It’s a fair question, although when the guy didn’t answer it the first couple times I would of changed my line of questioning to get to the same obvious answer(ie the Koch brothers among many other big corp guys pump tons of cash into Americans for Prosperity) and they generally are pushing all this stuff.
Reports of a man firing up to 20 times with rifle in Oregon Mall.
Some reports are now saying up to 60 shots fired.
Gun Control!!!
Mark,
The difference is any violence at a Tea Party is the lead – let’s see how much sympathetic press the unions get. Why is it when a Left leaning group protests, whatever the cause, the story is about their cause but the Tea Party protests it is about their anger, lack of diversity, etc?
@Bobbyv
Tea Party protests about their anger….? I’ve haven’t seen ANYONE say anything about that? First time I’ve seen the Obama Bumper sticker road rage too. But this Union protests and them hitting this Fox News guy, I heard about it literally 5 minutes after it happened….ALL over the news.
The UAW is valued at 1.4 BILLION dollars.
That puts them in the 1% catagory Obama loves to hate.
News Flash folks. They are tax exempt.
Here’s a poll (for RedBarSoup in particular):
If an MSNBC listener finds a University study that says that Fox News listeners are less informed than those who don’t watch the news and they continually quote that study over and over again to somehow make some point and then it turns out that that study was completely false and the MSNBC viewer didn’t EVEN bother to find out any background about that study, and then on the other hand you have the Fox News watchers, who are supposed to be the dumb ones, search a little — not much — and find out that the study being touted as some kind of Bible of MSNBC watchers’ intellect is a hoax, who is the smarter more intellectual viewer:
___ 1. The MSNBC watcher (who’s REALLY, REALLY a laughingstock)
___ 2. The Fox News watcher (who’s REALLY, REALLY much more grounded and informed)
MSNBC watchers, this is a poll so you can only choose one answer. I know I don’t have to instruct Fox News watchers. They just know things like that without needing to be instructed.
I had to post this again because I find it hilariously that RedBarSoup would be THIS stupid. He must be an MSNBC watcher. lol
One thing that conservatives and Liberals will agree on, is that CNNs rating are back to were they were before the election coverage last summer. Somethings don’t change.
I think that Conservatives and Liberals have to try all the wrong things first before they find what will actually work. They need to try them because that is what they promised. Since they need to try them we always have to experience the failures associated with what they are trying.
Trial and error governing.
@RedBar and Bobbyv
That was the first time I heard of the bumper sticker as well, so this idea that tea party stupidity gets front page news all the time is ridiculous. I just did a search for Tea party violence on youtube and that was the most extreme case(most other I was going to use as an example was Tea party people pushing around people who were protesting at the tea party rally, which might be a better comparison to the Fox guy trying to be a poop disturber).
I was just trying to give an example that both sides have their idiots(I am sure you can find many Occupy movement people doing stupid thing videos for instance)
The ski slopes were great today. Good powder still and no lift lines.
Mark,
The point I am making is that the unions and Occupy definitely get the benefit of the doubt because they are seen as the underdogs fighting for their beliefs whereas the Tea Party are a bunch of white people whining. I may be a bit extreme in my characterization but I think you are honest enough to see there is a different standard.
RedBar,
Really? You haven’t seen ANYONE talk about the anger of the Tea Party? All I can say is I have at times. I am not saying that all the coverage of the TP was negative, but I have seen the characterizations.
