NBC’S ‘’ ARTISTS HAVE CAPTURED TWO #1 SINGLES ON THE US iTUNES CHART FOR THE FIRST TIME IN ONE SEASON

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. --- December 11, 2012 – As NBC’s “” roars towards its season finale on December 18, this series is hitting new highs and experiencing many firsts. This is the first time that “ ” has had two #1 singles on the overall iTunes charts in one season and also occupied three of the Top 5 positions on the overall singles chart.
The show will narrow down its current four finalists to three in tonight’s show (8-9 p.m. ET).
Finalist Cassadee Pope’s “Stupid Boy” heads the iTunes Top 10 overall singles chart and fellow finalist Terry McDermott’s “Let It Be” is now the #2 on the iTunes Top 10 overall singles chart. Another finalist, Nicholas David, is now ranked at #4 in the same category. Trevin Hunte, is rated at #4 on the iTunes R&B chart for “Wind Beneath My Wings” and McDermott’s “Let It Be” tops the iTunes Rock Charts followed by his “I Want to Know What Love Is” at #2 and his “Maybe I’m Amazed” is ranked at #5 in the same category.
