What about MSNBC and Fox from 9-11 on Sundays?
A 1.1 for ABCF is great!…the movie did very well for them, expect a sequel!
Tis sad that Bravo can get a 1.5 with utter garbage they show, they quality scripted tv gets much lower…..
Thanks @Nick.
I wonder why How the States got their Shapes went up ~43% from 10 to 10:30. Hmm.
Good numbers for ‘Next Iron Chef’. They should be higher nex week, with chef Mehta gone. Sorry to know that chef Faulkner exited last week – being the runner-up last year and being in the show for the second year in a row, it was beginning to feel like she was a member of the family.
any hunted final numbers?. i didnt watch since i started that night and finished saturday evening. i didnt realize that it was the final til i hit the 8th episode. good show. hope it comes back.
@DW: ”Hunted” numbers can be found in the Friday Cable Finals comment section
Thanks @Nick
I’m very happy for Homeland and Dexter. I’m glad they are getting good ratings. Hopefully next week will be even higher. SpongeBob is doing extremely well for Nick. Also Disney shows seem to be doing very well too.
Good ratings for ABC Family Movie with Tori Spelling & Tia Mowry.
Sunday’s Hallmark movie (Help for the Holidays) becomes the channel’s highest rated movie of the year, both in total viewers of 18-49 demo
Saturday’s Hallmark Movie performed well too. Same for SyFy version of a seasonal movie.
Dexter is killin’ it on Sundays.
thanks nick for saturday cartoons ratings on cartoon network.
Bimbo gold digging sluts of Atlanta over dexter and homeland, wow blow us up already
@Nick
Thanks so much as always, Nick!!! Appreciate it a lot!!!
Could you please post just this week’s numbers of Paula’s Best Dishes (9:30AM) and Giada at Home (11:30AM) to compare their increase/drop those shows and their lead-ins/outs get. Thanks in advance!!!
Homeland is a terrible show but I watch it every week like clockwork.
That’s very good for The Mistle Tones on ABCFamily!
A re-run of GLC on Friday beat any new Nickelodeon episode on Saturday Night this week. They better promote Sam and Cat, Gibby, and the final season of BTR (Once a show goes past 60 episodes, it will get cancelled) well next year or I wouldn’t be shocked if the network went bankrupt.
do you have the ratings for E! especial: LeAnn Rimes?
@Tom
There are a few reasons why cable ratings can grow better over time than broadcast. ‘Word of Mouth’ is probably the most common. Quality from the program itself can cause its fans to spread the word. When I like a show, I tend to let people know. Many people do this. If a cable channel premieres a quality show that gets sub-par ratings, it will usually give it some time to grow. How can I put this nicely? BROADCAST DOESN’T GIVE A F*** ABOUT QUALITY! But sometimes they get lucky, and a highly rated program just happens to be quality. That’s the only time a broadcast show grows over time. Most people spend more time on the BIG 4 broadcast stations than all of the basic or premium cable channels combined. Dexter premiered to less than 700,000 viewers. Why? Mainly because people just didn’t even know about it. As more people ‘discovered’ Dexter existed, much like all other cable programs, more people watched.
ABC Family should be very disappointed with the numbers for their original movie. The movie should have won the night as much as ABC Family shoved that terrible movie down the audiences throats with all of those commercials, videos, articles, etc. ABC Family Original movie (the Mistle-Tones) was pretty lame and so cheesy. It did not help that the cringe worthy and embarrassing movie starred those has been 90′s actresses Tori Spelling and Tia Mowry. That movie’s performance was pretty lackluster in total viewers and in the coveted 18-49 demos especially in comparison to the non original Christmas movie classics that ABC Family have recently shown which have garnered vastly higher ratings in total viewers and in the 18-49 . Elf, The Grinch that Stole Christmas, National Lampoons Christmas Vacation, etc. have all put up higher ratings in total viewers and demos. Not to mention the majority of reality shows put up higher ratings and demos as well. In truth ABC Family would have been more successful (and saved alot of money) in continuing to air the Christmas classic movies that the audience wants to see.
I will say that I do agree that Hallmark has been successful with their original holiday movies as a whole.
