@Cathy
Your watching a News channel if it’s interrupted by a news story why would you turn it off? Oh wait,,,, Are you saying they turned off Ed on MSNBC to Turn on Fox to watch the Oregon story?
You mean the same reason people turn off Fox and turn to CNN when something like that happens? It floats both ways, and until you realize that you will be called out on it. MSNBC and Fox News is no longer about news, it’s entertainment propaganda for their side.
Letmethink and 1966, thanks for that great Texas music you put out there in yesterday’s posts. Oh, Willie Nelson makes me want to waltz with anyone, even someone that doesn’t know how to waltz!!
Letmethink, we have six extended families here in California. All of us are doing the scouting. We want to live amongst people who don’t need the government as a nanny. We want to be around independent people who help each other be successful.
California is beautiful. But it really is difficult to go to grocery stores watching people after people paying with food stamps and then they get into huge big $40,000 gas guzzling SUVs. You know they’re working and telling the government they’re not.
Most in California have learned how to game the system and they teach their young how to game the system. They collect and they work under the radar. And the rest of us pay for that. It really makes your stomach turn.
IZCA, from your map, Oklahoma is all red. I love it. So is Nebraska and Kansas. Texas has character, so does Tennessee. We’re moving out of the blue state into a red state and it can’t be fast enough. I just can’t wait to watch those 47 percent who pay no taxes figure out how they’re going to pay for each others’ entitlements.
I just can’t wait to watch those 47 percent who pay no taxes figure out how they’re going to pay for each others’ entitlements.
I can’t wait till you are one of the 47%ers and realize that the people that was lumped into the 47% that Romney was talking about were retired people that, you know, are retired and that’s why they pay no income taxes……
I love it when Fox beats MSNBC. It’s really a joyous occasion.
And I love it even more when Fox beats MSNBC in that “demo” thing I keep hearing about that is supposed to be so great that the Democrats/Liberals/Socialists talk about all the time.
..sigh…
NEW—A Pew Research study released on November 12, 2012, revealed the following:
“MSNBC’s coverage of Romney during the final week (68% negative with no positive stories in the sample), was far more negative than the overall press, and even more negative than it had been during October 1 to 28 when 5% was positive and 57% was negative.
For Obama, meanwhile, the coverage improved in the last week. From October 1 to 28, 33% was positive and 13% negative. During the campaign’s final week, fully 51% of MSNBC’s stories were positive while there were no negative stories at all in the sample.”
I’ll allow you to judge if that means MSNBC is a propaganda channel for the Obama administration.
PS–I can provide links for all my information if necessary. And none of it that fake stuff that some commenters like to cling to
ABOUT MATH!!!!
I did use the republican math line because Obama, libs, dems and alike use it all the time.
I learned ten years ago that people seem to all have a different understanding of Math. And having a BS in Math and Computer Science that surprised me. I know what Math is and I know how it works. But most people don’t, so they are fooled by the lying accountants (political figures) time and time again.
I also learned that when you prove to people by doing the math that you are right and they are wrong, they stop using the word equal and start using the word FAIR. Equal is a math term and Fair isn’t.
I have to laugh every time Obama says that the republican math does not work. Obama, who told Jay Leno, he can’t help she’s ninth grade daughter with her math homework because he was good with Math after seventh grade. Forest Grump’s voice always plays in my head, “I’m not very good with math but I know that the republican math does not work.”
@BevAG
I had thought about Oklahoma, Nebraska, or Kansas as well. If I was born/raised there, or had connections, I’d consider it more seriously. Otherwise, the integration factor would be difficult (middle aged single guy in a small farm town? uhm…). Tornadoes are a something to take seriously, too.
In the final week of the campaign, both Fox News and MSNBC became even more extreme in how they differed from the rest of the press in coverage of the two candidates. On Fox News, the amount of negative coverage of Obama increased-from 47% in the first four weeks of October to 56% the final week. Meanwhile, positive discussion of Romney grew, from 34% of segments to 42%. On MSNBC, the positive coverage of Obama increased from 33% during most of October to 51% during the last week, while Romney’s negative coverage increased from 57% to 68%.
Seems to me like they both are propaganda.
RedBarSoup, I will always pay taxes. That’s how my life is.
I don’t mind pay taxes as long as it’s reasonable and as long as the government spends it properly and efficiently, which it doesn’t. When the government controls fraud, when the governmental entities that cost the taxpayers billions of dollars to operate like the SEC ACTUALLY do what they’re supposed to and regulate what they’re supposed to so that the Bernie Madoffs of the country can’t get away with what he did for decades, then I won’t mind paying higher taxes. Until that point I will fight tooth and nail not to pay any more than is necessary.
Until then I’m going to enjoy watching the 47 percent in California that don’t pay taxes that just voted THEMSELVES higher taxes at the cash register where they do pay taxes — idiots. I’m going to enjoy watching California figure out how they’re going to pay for all these entitlement programs they’ve been promising everyone for decades.
@Red,
I told you before. I know that Fox, MSNBC, CNN and every other news channel are only giving me there view of the news.
I don’t post as much as I did before because I look at the same losers using their phony names or under a phonier name, and I say “why bother?”
Let anyone calling ME a “coward” come forward with their REAL name, first and last, as I have always done.

for you bevag from 1983.
Remember when Sarah Palin was chastised by the Left for using the word “cross hairs”? The Left said that because Sarah Palin used that phrase she’s a hater, she wants violence. Today the Union is saying there’s going to be a “civil war” if they don’t get their way.
Here’s another poll:
Which words say “hate” and “violence” more in your mind:
1. ______ cross hairs
2. ______ civil war
This is a poll, so MSNBC watchers you can only choose one. I know Fox News watchers don’t need to be instructed.
@bevAG
don’t move to minn. either.
we got a dem. govener. and a dem. house and senate. and there talking about raising our taxes next year.
Fox “News”, the right wing GOP propaganda network, refuses to admit that all polls show that Obama’s plan for the fiscal cliff is preferred by a two-to-one margin. Even Republicans support higher tax rates for the rich. But the GOP is being held hostage by Norquist and a few right wing radical congresssmen.
@ Republicans “Poor Richard Maddow, destroyed by Hannity”
Not really, Rachel Maddow and Lawrence O’Donnell were off last night…they both had replacements.
By now you should know that Hnnity can’t beat Rachel and Greta can’t beat O’Donnell.
MSNBC, the White House propaganda network, is covering up President Obama’s mishandling of Fast and Furious and our Ambassador and three other Americans that were killed in Benghazi. (This is in response to usa8888′s post).
BevAG—
Don’t forget: “There will be blood, there will be repercussions,” State Democratic Rep. Douglas Geiss, speaking on the House floor on Tuesday, warned ahead of the votes.
Everyone remember when that Republican filibustered his own bill, remember when even after that, people are still blaming the Democrats for holding us hostage over the fiscal cliff?
If anyone has HBO (and other channels), concert for Sandy is on. Boss1, hope you are not missing The Boss
