Predict the Ratings For Tonight's Episode of ' Arrow' - Poll

Last week, tvbtn reader favorite Arrow dipped to a 1.1 adults 18-49 rating. Will it rebound this week? On one hand, it is facing the usual stiff competition from The X Factor, Survivor, and The Middle/The Neighbors. On the other hand, it's the Christmas episode, which... actually means next to nothing for a superhero show. Instead of Supernatural, tonight Arrow's lead out will be a repeat of the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. Make your ratings predictions, then, if you're so inclined, head to the comments to discuss your choice and, just for fun, which fictional TV character you would like to see Barbara Walters include in her annual Most Fascinating People special.

  • Gary A

    Barbara Walters interview:

    Richard Castle ( Castle )
Dr. Sheldon Cooper ( The Big Bang Theory )
Dr. Walter Bishop ( Fringe )
    Liz Lemon & Jack Donaght ( 30 Rock )

  • Richard Steven Hack

I think it will notch up a hair to 1.2. Some people may turn in early to make sure they don’t miss the babes on the VS show. :-)

  • Nick

    The Middle: 2.6
    The Neighbors: 1.9
    Modern Family: 4.5
Barbara Walters Presents the 10 Most Fascinating People of 2012: 2.5

    Survivor: 3.3 [ties season high]
Criminal Minds: 3.1 [ties season high]
    CSI: 2.6

    Arrow: 1.3 [ties series high]
    The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show (R): 0.5

    The X Factor: 2.9

    Whitney: 1.2
    Guys With Kids (R): 0.7
    Take it All: 1.4
Chicago Fire: 1.5 [ties series low]

I predict 1.3. You people seem to be forgetting it’s the midseason finale. It should see a boost.

Love this show, but I think it benefits from Supernatural (like supernatural benefits from Arrow).

  • Nick

And here are the 10 most fascinating people on TV:

Regina Mills/Queen Regina (Once Upon a Time)
    Victoria Grayson (Revenge)
    Frankie Heck (The Middle)
    Manny Pritchett (Modern Family)
    Captain Marcus Chaplin (Last Resort)
    Harold Finch (Person of Interest)
    Oliver Queen (Arrow)
    BJ (Ben & Kate)
    Rachel Matheson (Revolution)
    Shania Clemmons (The New Normal)

Well, the 12.12.12 concert is running over, so that could have an impact on the ratings.

  • CJ

I don’t know about anywhere else, but Arrow was pre-empted tonight in the Philadelphia market for the Sandy telethon. The episode won’t air here until Saturday night.

Yeah, in Philly here, too. So if all the CW stations were like this, I’ll be choosing ‘<0.9' ;)

  • DonnaT

I live in the CW Philly viewing area, too, and my Comcast TV sched called for Arrow @ 8 pm,VS @ 9 so Comcast wasn’t adjusted. Wonder if any NYC or “Jersey Shore” CW affliates were pre-empted for the Sandy Concert (it’s pretty good) as well.

  • thesnowleopard

I guessed 1.0 for it, due to the Christmas season (and it sounds as though there are some preemptions). Naturally, I hope it’ll be higher and, if not, will rebound in January.

  • senor chang

2.5 in the overnights. Take It All BOMBED: lost half its audience from Monday/Tuesday in one fell swoop. Sadly, that also means Chicago Fire sank to a series low (3.6 HH – maybe 1.3-1.5 in the demo?)

Very good night for ABC, decent for FOX and CBS, and awful for NBC.

  • CrimTV

According to Mark Berman Arrow scored a 1.0 :(

  • Mi

It’s not too bad considering.. but not great either.

  • crystalabell

I think that Arrow is one of the best new programs and I do not understand why its ratings are so low!!!!
