The Voice and The Mindy Project were each adjusted up a tenth while Happy Endings and Take It All were each adjusted down a tenth among adults 18-9 versus the preliminary Tuesday broadcast ratings.

But Happy Endings and Apt 23 are aired beforehand in Canada allowing the young demo peeps to torrent them online giving them no reason to watch live on ABC. If they swapped the Canadian cityTV schedule around I’m certain the ratings would rise.

Are you in a Nielsen family? Otherwise, why would your viewing matter in any way?

Assuming New Girl gets renewed for season 3, then season 4 is pretty much guaranteed, right? Similar to the Raising Hope situation where syndication should be taken into account. After season 3, New Girl would have around 72 episodes (24 episodes per season). I would think that season 4 of New Girl would be pretty much a done deal, right???
NCIS is always excellent, always, but Tuesday night’s NCIS was absolutely wonderful with Gibbs and Fornell’s ex-wife working with them. Loved it. But then again, don’t ever remember seeing a bad NCIS.
Hart of Dixie is such a fabulous show!! I’m so tired of these stupid “reality” show. What reality?! And they’re all the same! We need to clean up some of the tv garbage.
Bummer for Happy Endings. One of my favorite shows. I guess I’ll enjoy it while it lasts.
How are Nielsen families selected? I’ve never known anyone who was part of one, nor known anyone who has known anyone who was part of one. As a skeptical person, I wonder how / if the numbers are skewed to a certain demographic simply because of the way data is gathered (I think of polling for POTUS and how those are done to land-lines from “unknown” numbers, which automatically discounts most urban people under 35 who don’t have land lines and don’t answer calls without an ID).
