    I’m beginning to think there are two or three Lefties on this board that use all sorts of different names to make it look like there’s more Lefties than they’re really are.

    Am I seeing this right?

    —————

    The blue folks (Bill & Robert) don’t like sock puppets. If their caught they soon get banned. So I’m guessing most are 1 person. I like having different view points. Hope they aren’t sock puppets.

  • BevAG

    I totally agree, Hillbilly. I think we should do what ICZA said, Show up, say present and let the cliff happen. I’m tired of hearing all of this stuff already. Let’s just deal with the results of the cliff and go from there.

    One of the good things is that President Obama might have to miss his five million dollar Hawaii vacation. That would be a positive.

    Did you all hear that President Obama is wanting all the corporations and rich people that he’s successfully gotten all the mindless middle class people to despise to pay for his inauguration? I hope they all tell him to jump in a lake and to pay for his own inauguration party/ball.

  • RedBarSoup

    Dear Leader is able to con a big majority of young voters, women and minorities with bribes, fear and gimme’s. Those of us who are self thinkers and doers will be for the most part fine because that is what we do, deal with adversity and challenges.

    Con? con with what? Bribes? what bribes? What fear? Also, are you saying that the majority of woman, young voters and minorities aren’t “self thinkers”?

  • BevAG

    I like hearing different view points as well. I love discussion. I just think it’s icky to be using different names. When you have something to say, say it in the name you’re known in. The hiding business is so off. But I know online is known for that. It’s easy to hide behind other names.

  • Hillbilly

    ***So I’m guessing most are not 1 person

  • BevAG

    RedBarSoup, I believe young people are not self-thinkers. They never have been. Young people are still impressionable. That’s why marketers market to them the most. Not all young people, but most.

    So if you have a Leader who is Santa Clause and can convince you that you should hate the rich instead of striving to the best you can be, then young people see that as an option.

  • Joe

    Hey delusional Fox lovers. You can keep winning the ratings. As long as Obama won the election, that’s all that matters. You do remember the Republicans lost the election??? I know you’re delusional people but I hope you understand that. I love how people can watch the same network everyday and be lied to forever. You had to figure it out when Fox was saying that Romney would win the election by 5 to 10 point and then got destroyed lol. You had Karl Rove try to say the Republican didn’t lose Ohio lol. You had your conservative polls like Gallup and Rasmussen say Romney was up to 5 to 7 points. You get blatantly lied to and yet you still watch it. As long as you realize that Fox winning the ratings is not the majority of the country since Obama destroyed the Republicans, you can stay in your bubble. Make sure you keep protecting the rich and their taxes.

  • BevAG

    Ah, I got it, Hillbilly. I’m hoping they’re not just one or two people either. I like to think that there’s honesty even if disagreement.

  • Hillbilly

    2012 numbers.

    Total spending – $6231.7 billion

    Divide by 12 = $519 billion monthly

    Divide by 4 = $129 billion weekly

    Source.

    Taking the high end $100 billion a year by increasing taxes on the rich. Yep that’s really going to help. :roll:

    That would assume we check for sock puppets on a regular basis, which we do not.

    That said, I did a quick check of the commenters on *this* thread, and they are all either unique or going through some trouble as to appear so.

    Primetime Key Demo Numbers

    Network DEC 2011 / DEC 2012

    Fox News…. 601 / 337 = -78% decrease
    MSNBC……. 174 / 258 = +48% increase

    Fox News numbers have decreased in every single show, while MSNBC numbers have increased in every single show.

    Fox News numbers have dropped drastically from last year, while MSNBC numbers have improved exponentially.

    Ouch!!! That’s gotta hurt!

  • BevAG

    Joe: Oh, we know all too well that Obama won the election.

    We also know that MSNBC, the White House propaganda machine, was lying to you the entire time as well telling you that the rich Republicans were going to steal the election, and you all still seem to think that MSNBC is not the White House megaphone. You all like being lied to by the government.

    Thankfully, most of the country is not listening and not buying into MSNBC. We can see that by the rating numbers.

    Obama did not win by a landslide. And as more and more people see how Obama’s plans are going to hit their wallets, you’re going to watch his popularity sink. I say let us go off the cliff.

  • Mark2

    @Hillbilly

    Your numbers are including what the State spends.

    Those numbers you posted are NOT what the Federal GOVT spends every year.

  • Mark2

    @Bev

    But if Fox News is the most watched Cable News show, how is it that Obama won? LOL

    Yes, that’s really going to help. That’s 1/12th of the budget deficit gone, with little negative impact on growth. That is a tremendously useful contribution to a comprehensive plan.

    Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Papa! You go boy!

  • Mark2

    @Hillbilly

    Federal Govt spending = 3.8 Trillion
    Federal Govt Revenue = 2.5 Trillion
    Annual Govt Defecit = 1.3 Trillion

    The only way to balance our budget is to cut Defense by half, go back to Clinton or Reagan tax rates (avg of either), and cut all loopholes and deductions by half.
