“CBS SUNDAY MORNING WITH CHARLES OSGOOD” REMAINS THE #1 SUNDAY MORNING NEWS PROGRAM IN HOUSEHOLDS, VIEWERS AND ADULTS 25-54

SEASON-TO-DATE, “CBS SUNDAY MORNING” IS UP +6% IN HOUSEHOLDS AND +4% IN VIEWERS

CBS SUNDAY MORNING WITH CHARLES OSGOOD was the #1 Sunday morning news program in households, viewers and adults 25-54, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for Dec. 9, 2012. CBS SUNDAY MORNING posted a 3.9/10 with 5.61m viewers and a 1.5/07 in adults 25-54. Compared to the same day last year, CBS SUNDAY MORNING was up +8% in households (from 3.6/09), +11% in viewers (from 5.05m) and +15% in adults 25-54 (from 1.3/06).

 

Season-to-date, CBS SUNDAY MORNING was up +6% in households (3.8/10 from 3.6/10), +4% in viewers (5.41m from 5.20m) and was even in adults 25-54 (1.4/07) compared to last year.

Sunday’s broadcast featured Lee Cowan’s interview with pop-music heartthrob Bruno Mars, Martha Teichner’s behindthescenes look at hit drama “Downton Abbey,” Tracy Smith’s profile of actor Ewan McGregor, Anthony Mason’s visit with “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey” actor Andy Serkis and Rita Braver’s report on the boom in selfpublishing.

CBS SUNDAY MORNING is broadcast Sundays (9:00-10:30 AM, ET) on the CBS Television Network. Rand Morrison is the executive producer.
