“The View” Ties “General Hospital” for #1 in Women 18-34
Daytime Programming Highlights
- ABC qualified as Daytime’s #1 network for the 13th consecutive week in Women 18-34 (0.5 rating/186,000 - tied) and for the 9th straight week in Women 18-49 (0.9 rating/545,000).
- “General Hospital” ranked as the #1 program in Daytime for the 4th consecutive week in Women 18-34 (0.6 rating – tied), and for the 9th time in the previous 10 weeks overall.
- Year to year, “General Hospital” climbed by a solid 12% in Total Viewers (2.54 million vs. 2.26 million), powered by the 43% increase in Women 18-34 (213,000 vs. 149,000).
- For the 2nd consecutive week, “The View” tied “General Hospital” as the #1 program in Daytime in Women 18-34 (0.6 ratings apiece).
Ouch, GH down about 200,000 in viewers overall! WHY?! Well, next week should be up with how this week has gone so far…I hope.
Don’t see that many soap fans missing there soaps.All soap fas are loyal to there soaps.
There are 4 soaps on TV and I watch them all. DOOL’s and GH come on the same time, So I record GH. Trying to give my soaps as much support as I can. GH has been really good lately.
GO GH!!!! even though ALL soaps were down this week….GH is STILL NUMBER 1 ON ABC IN THE ALL IMPORTANT 18-49 DEMO BEATING THE VIEW!!!!
