One Direction – Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson – were  discovered on the U.K.’s “The X Factor” in 2010. The band quickly gained a following to become one of the competition’s all-time most popular acts, finishing in the final three and garnering a gigantic and loyal fanbase along the way. In March 2012, One Direction’s debut album, “Up All Night,” made U.S. history, as it was the first time a U.K. group’s debut album entered the U.S. Billboard 200 chart at No. 1. The band has sold over 12 million records worldwide. In November, One Direction released its sophomore album, “Take Me Home,” which includes the No. 1 single, “Live While We’re Young.”

Pitbull has risen to become a global superstar as both a recording and performing artist. The Miami native recently added to a long and growing list of hits with his first No. 1, “Give Me Everything.” At the same time, his world tour sold out concerts in Latin America, Canada and Europe, before bringing the party to the United States, Japan and Australia. Pitbull’s new single, “Don’t Stop The Party,” is gaining heavy momentum on the radio and video charts and is featured on his new album, “Global Warming.” It’s the highly anticipated follow-up to “Planet Pit,” which earned critical acclaim and enjoyed massive commercial success with sales of more than 1.4 million albums and 18 million singles. “Don’t Stop The Party” comes on the heels of Pitbull’s two million-selling single, “Back In Time,” the chart-topping anthem from the action-adventure-comedy “Men In Black 3.”

  • Nick

    Too bad no one cares.

  • Paul

Carly and Fifth Harmony for the win! It was a great episode tonight!! Can’t wait to watch the finale next week!

  • Ryan

Thank goodness Emblem 3 left.God they were awful.Carly Rose for the win!!!!

  • CrimTV

After my favourite CeCe left I really wanted Fifth Harmony to win and now they’re in the final WOOO!

  • SJ

This show is such a disaster, but at least they had one person who had the X factor – CeCe Frey. Too bad she was eliminated last week.

  • Elijah

Shut Up Nick, no one cares about you too, your saying that because you can’t sing i’m voting for Carly too win.

  • Precious

SJ is clearly taking the piss. Tate Stevens deserves it the most.

  • Lisa

Carly Rose has to win this thing. I could live with Fifth Harmony taking it, I guess (they’re good but are still gelling as a group; I do like their voices), but Tate would be the worst winner possible. He is so generic and dull.

The elimination show last night promptly removed any suspense at all when it was announced that the first act going through was Fifth Harmony. At that point, it was obvious that Emblem3 was going home.

  • Tellitlikeitis

Congrats to the X Factor voters for finally getting it right the last few weeks. The got rid of the untalented for-show-only contestants and kept the gifted singers. It should be a good final this year.

  • Jonathan

CeCe Frey was the best but I like Fifth Harmony and Carly Rose!

  • TVMAN

Fifth Harmony deserves to win. Noone expected then to be in the finale. Carly has a good voice, but can only sing ballads and is starting to get boring. Tate is just another country singer with a decent voice. Dime a dousin. Fifth Harmony has something very likeble and fresh about them

  • Dave

Emblem 3 and Carly both have the biggest fanbases yet X Factor wants us to believe that they were both in the bottom 2… Way to go Fix Factor, that was totally believable, N O T!

  • Jack S

    @Dave

Was it actually confirmed Carly was 3rd in the vote? I thought it was random, she still could’ve topped it

Carly seems like the rightful winner to me, she may do the same sort of thing every week but she delivers every week. The show needs to produce a worldwide star to get people more interested, that could be Carly. Tate could have some country success in the US but he isn’t a worldwide star.

  • CrimTV

The votes are rigged anyway, CeCe was actually 3rd in her week but was eliminated and supposedly 6th, whereas Tate was actually 6th, Diamond was 5th, Emblem3 were 4th, CeCe was 3rd, Fifth Harmony were 2nd and Carly was 1st. CeCe should still be there!

  • Jack S

And what’s the source for that then?

  • JONNYSBRO

If the votes would have been rigged it would have had Emblem3 staying and winning. That is what Simon wanted all along to have them win and sign them. To manipulate it and it backfired. I much much prefer Fifth Harmony. Those girls are so sweet, cute and they have tons of charm and GENUINE. I love Carly as well. I really am happy the females are dominating this in a male dominated crowd. I like Tate and think he would do well in country world.

  • TVMAN

I don’t believe all those who say XF is fixed. Show a source if its true. CeCe was eliminated because she couldn’t sing. Did she have star power? Sure she did, but she had no voice. Same goes with Paige. I also think E3 came off as Doughbags, which why they never came higher than 3rd in the rankings.

  • Just Desserts

    Carly Rose Jepsen-Sonenberg sucks some :P :P :P :P !!!

  • Lisa

@Jack, voting results were not announced this week other than the fact that Emblem3 received the lowest number of votes (which was obvious because they were eliminated). Mario had stated that they would not reveal who ranked where in the voting otherwise. Carly could have finished anywhere from 1st through 3rd though very likely was either 1st or 2nd again as she has been throughout the competition.

  • Mole

They gave the show the nick name Fix Factor for a reason in the UK. Carly Rose is an industry plant, Disney has been pushing for her from the start on their Twitter and Facebook profiles as well as their affiliate pages.
