   Again, I was expecting higher for AHS.

   I’m shocked this season is rating lower than last season. They’ve both been different, but I think this season has been a lot better.

   It amazes me how ppl can watch TBBT reruns over & over & over again. Same w/ Family Guy.

   I’m shocked 12-12-12 concert made the list once & it was on AMC. But I can’t say nothing cause I didn’t even bother to watch it

   I wish we could find out the total numbers of viewers from ALL the stations that showed the 12 12 12 concert —which was excellent btw !!!

   Holy crap. SpongeBob’s repeat numbers just won’t drop at all. 3.6 million viewers for a 6:30 PM rerun on a WEEKNIGHT. That is crazy. As much as I love SB, how many people can watch the same episodes OVER & OVER again.

   AHS didn’t start out great this season but ever since the episode where Bloody Face was revealed…WOW. It’s been really good since then. Both season 1 and 2 are great in different ways. Overall it’s a great show.

   I watched all of the 12-12-12 Concert on HBO. Still, everyone I talked to today watched at least part of it on some cable channel. Maybe it was just big in the Northeast?

    The 12-12-12 concert was on a lot of different stations, no? Viewing was probably too split to be properly counted.

    I think the only explanation is that people have their remote stuck on AEN, because I can’t believe so many people watch Duck Dynasty REPEATS.

    Wasn’t Toddlers and Tiaras on last night (new), or am I mistaken? If it was new and didn’t even make it, would I be a happy guy or what…

    Not showing may be the new norm for the TV Land comedies. Of course that doesn’t matter, though, HIC will probably get several more seasons (dead serious).

    If the rating were in the 50+ age rank, then Hot in Cleveland would be way higher than it is now

    You are kidding right? Bones with old episodes does better -see yesterday’s ratings, Cold Case, a canceled show, at 1 am did better. Need I to say more?

    The only real winners on cable are NCIS, SVU and the NAN programming as far as scripted repeats are concerned. And obviously Family Guy and TBBT.

    Too bad the highest rating for the 12-12 concert was apparently via AMC instead of any of the other channels carrying it. AMC has the WORST-looking HD in the business. They skimp on HD bandwidth and it looks absolutely terrible. (And then they have the audacity to try to extort higher license fees from Verizon FiOS with obnoxious screen-crawls during Walking Dead and make our rates go up!) I guess the other channels carrying it were not prominent enough: Palladia HD, Biography Channel, etc. etc., and HBO is limited by its # of subscribers.

    I don’t think Cold Case did better than Castle, as they all got .3s. Though yes, it was at 1:00 am, so there’s that. And to your other point, yes, yesterday Bones did better in it’s repeats (.4s and more shows with that) than Castle did (.3s). On the other hand CSI did better than both of them by getting a .5 for a 1:00am showing. Now that is pretty good for a repeat, and at 1am no less.

    No, Cold Case did better since it’s up on the list. This means that while they have the same rounded 0.3, Cold Case did marginally better in reality. And having less viewers, this only means it skew younger. Which given how old are procedural viewers, it did better even in the so taunted by TNT 25-54 demo.

    CSI is on USA, which as a channel skew younger than TNT -see their 18-34 ratings- so it’s not quite fair to compare the two. At the end of the day the real winners for USA are NCIS and SVU, not CSI or House. That’s why I mentioned them.
