One day there will be a breakdown in society in the United States like there has been in every country or society in the world in all of history. I did not say that it would be next week or next year or the next 10 years but someday this will occur. Upon that day, the peasants or the general population will have to have weapons.
and FEMA is really death camps.
Doug, I’ve heard that also. I like it.
I always said that if I were a Muslim woman and had to wear one of those burkas, I’d carry a Glock underneath it and blow off the jewels of any of those Muslim men who hit me because my shoes made noise when I walked or any one of the other miserable rules they have for women in Taliban world. lol
You go to Mexico, guns are outlawed. lol The only ones allowed to have guns are the officialis. Well, we all know THAT’S not how it works. Now the drug warlords have the semis that they have and the ones that were given to them by the United States through Fast and Furious.
So now the Mexican citizenry are not legally allowed to protect themselves from the corrupt Mexican officialis and the drug warlords and then, of course, from their mentally ill who have semis.
Bishop, I heard the rifle was left in the car also. But news keeps changing about this massacre, so anything I hear I take with a grain of salt until they start coming out with the reports which will be a few days I figure.

This happens in every country throughout history. Sooner or later.
Of course, the drug cartels can buy all the weapons they want from Barack Hussein Obama

If you were a Moslem female, you would have been killed already! You probably never would’ve made it to age 12. They would say you have a bad attitude. I personally like your attitude

They are even cheaper if you buy them from ATF and the Obama administration, with extra support from the Atty. Gen.
Dem. Rep. Jerrold Nadler is at least being honest about how he, and no doubt many Leftists, would like to feast off an unthinkable tragedy and exploit it in order to pursue a nonsensical agenda that would ensure only bad guys have guns. Last night on “The Ed Show,” Nadler openly called for President Obama to “exploit” the murder of 20 children, “I think we will be there if the president exploits it, and otherwise we’ll go on to the next.”
And Ed was a republican gun owner that turned into a democrac hunting lodge and gun owner.
David Frum Cracks CT School Shooting Joke
\
As we all know, CNN Contributor and Daily Beast columnist, David Frum, is really nothing more than a mercenary opportunist, and one who’s increasingly desperate for attention. But who knew he was willing to go this far after the news was released of a shooting massacre at an elementary school in Newtown, CT:
-
davidfrum @davidfrum
Shooting at CT elementary school. Obviously, we need to lower the age limit for concealed carry so toddlers can defend themselves.
Let me tell you what I think happened here: First off, the least of Frum’s sins is his ghoulish use of an unthinkable tragedy to push a nonsensical agenda that would ensure only criminals possess guns. All day yesterday, at the first opportunity, we saw who knows how many Leftists join Frum to scream for gun control. What’s so outrageously offensive about this is the fact that Frum and company were not really calling for the gun control they want. The subtext of those gun control calls were in reality a grotesque brag — a nanny-nanny-boo-boo, toldja so celebration around a pile of freshly dead bodies — while pretending to care.
The greatest beneficiaries of total gun control would be the arms dealers, much like the suppliers of illicit drugs benefit from the drug laws.
Doug Z and Bev have been watching the Fox propaganda network too much. It’s a good thing Fox’s ratings are collapsing and MSNBC’s increasing…..
Hilary is unable to testify concerning the Benghazi terrorist attack, due to suffering a very fortuitous concussion.
@ BevAG,
“I noticed you left out the Norway shooting in your position. Norway’s a country that doesn’t allow their citizens to have guns, but he got a gun anyway and he did mayhem.”
Every government has a MORAL OBLIGATION to protect their citizens from harm, one being outlawing guns.
The US government is morally responsible for the death of those children because it failed to protect them by allowing guns and making our kids live in a militarized society.
If guns were outlawed and yet a shooter gets their hand on a gun illegally, then the country have no moral guilt.
As to Norway, a terrorist attack could happen anywhere and in that case the country didn’t morally fail its own people. Yesterday’s is a reminder of the 35 Americans who die DAILY from gun violence. Norway’s gun related homicides per year is 9 BTW so yes gun control works !!
Sam, I disagree with everything you said.
Doug, you’re right. The Muslim men would have killed me long ago. I was one of those even as a young kid who would stand up to bullies and was very verbal.
On the bus to school when I was like 12 or 13, everyone would made fun of this boy who was a little chubby and kind of waddled when he walked. No one would sit with him, but they’d throw things at him and say horrible things to him. I hated that they made fun of him.
So after a few weeks of this, one day I just sat next to him and I gave everyone this look like, “You better not miss him and get me.” I was scared because I didn’t know what I’d do if they didn’t care. But I guess my look was ferocious enough!! lol They never threw anything more at him. He lost their attention and they left him alone. I sat next to him on the bus every day for the entire school year.
I never said anything to him because I still had to maintain “being cool,” you know, like you have to ignorantly in school.
Fast forward six years later I’m working my first job at 16. One of the bosses was this lady who was a manager in one of the other departments. She was kind of loud and noisy. I was young, kind of scared of her. One day after I’m working there a year she walks in with the boy that I sat next to all that year.
Well, he must have told his mother about me and he pointed to me. Next thing I know I’m getting promoted, the whole bang. For the next few years I became friends with her and the whole family. They were SO good to me. They were lovely people.
I digressed. Yeah, the Muslim men would have taken me out a long time ago. I just LOVE that young Afghanistani girl who stood up to them and unfortunately got shot. I’m so glad she survived and is doing well.
The world is a tough place. You do good, you get good. But you can’t pretend, like the Lefties do, that evil doesn’t exist and you can somehow legislate evil out of existence. That’s way too Utopian and unrealistic.
@ BevAG,
“The pleasure of owning a gun — and the ONLY reason I own a gun — is to protect myself and those around me if and when something like yesterday ever happens in my presence.”
I could never understand how owning a gun would protect you from harm ! If a shooter shoots at you from a car while you’re carrying your grocery bags, how would owning a gun protect you ?
If an intruder breaks into your home, would you really have the time to find the safer, unlock it, load the gun and look for the intruder ? You wouldn’t have time unless if sleep with your loaded gun on the night stand next to your alarm clock ! which leaves the possibility of course of your depressed son to carry it and shoot 20 kids dead !
Sam, you’re right.
I’m going to still carry my gun. I’ll going to still go to the range. And if when I’m out in the world and I can protect myself and others by using a weapon, I will do that.
