New comedy 1600 Penn is debuting tonight after The Voice before moving to its normal Thursday timeslot in January. Will this new comedy fare as well as Take it All did last week in the post-Voice slot, or will the politically-themed sitcom turn viewers off? I’m a huge Jenna Elfman fan so i’ll be watching the show no matter what throughout its season. Considering that it will air after The Voice’s finale i expect high 2′s or even a 3. However, once it starts on thursdays it will drop and i’ll start to worry. Hopefully it won’t drop hard.
I love how NBC promos this saying its NBCs “modern family”. Oh Pleaaaase NBC
This is the worst show–how did it get on the air? Whatever it gets tonight will be the highest-downhill from here

I’m guessing uppers 2′s tonight seeing how it’s strongest competition is Mike & Molly. Following The Voice it should draw respectable numbers but the real test is in its regular Thur slot next month. Not sure where the negative comments on the show itself is coming from short of getting an advanced look at it somewhere.
I say 3.0 or better. Folks will stick around for 30 minutes to watch it.
I have no faith in the average television viewer. If ‘Honey Boo Boo’ can make it, this show is Emmy bound.
Who am I kidding. The show is craptastic at best, an insult to anyone with a pulse at worst. Anyone remember the FOX bomb, Allen Gregory ?
Hoping for something over a 3.0, even though a high 2.0 seems more likely.
Wow. This was not good. No chemistry at all and that son, Skip, not funny – very annoying… Not a single character made me want to return.
The story seems fun but promo was horrible.
It was great seeing Jenna Elfman again. But, I wasn’t as impressed with the rest of the program.

I’ll say that 1600 Penn should be able to garner a 2.4. I’m considering what Go On recieves after The Voice. Also, I’m taking into consideration that Christimas is a week away so people could be out shopping and that will lower the chances of a series premiere or sneak previews being a mega breakout success. The competition from CBS establish comedy Mike & Molly should prevent 1600 Penn from reaching high 2′s. Lastly, IMO, the promos were also horrible.
I think Take It All should be able to garner 1.6
The comedy was quite entertaining. I think it might do well with around a 3.0.

it will get around 2.5 ONLY because it follows the voice it would be getting 1.5 at best otherwise, stupid idea to start a new show just before christmas.
As long as it doesn’t air against TBBT on Thursdays, we’ll watch it live. Really enjoyed the pilot.
That was the worse show I’ve seen in a long time….. just horrible.

2.4. Call me a bit optimistic, but this reminds me of The New Normal. I think it will sample well. Long term prospects? I smell a bubble for this show.
This was 20 minutes of my life I’ll never get back … and to think I could have done something fun in those 20 mins like had a colonoscopy with a 1950′s era TV camera. My god this was a horrid, horrid train wreck. On the bright side it’s once less show I have to make time to watch.
