After negotiations reportedly broke down, it looks like Prospect Park's original plan to bring One Life To Live and All My Children online in 2013 has been revived, according to Deadline. Production is rumored to begin early next year, and discussions with possible cast members are ongoing.

Devious maids is only a13 episode season. AMC/Prospect Park would definitely work around that schedule for Susan. I wouldn’t count her out. Plus she did it before juggling AMC and Dallas for a half of season. They won’t reboot AMC without her.

Of course ppl (loyal viewers) would still care. I care & was upset when PP wasn’t happening. Now that it is, i’m all excited again.

I care more about One Life than i do AMC. The Buchanan’s, Balsco, Roxy, Destiny. I don’t even remember who signed on for PP. EEEEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!

  • Mary

I am with eveyone else I will believe it when I see it. I miss OLTL everyday. And hopefully it does come back itwill come back with the same writing team and actors.

  • Stephen Judson

    We shall see.

    @CoolRanchDoritos

Well I do. Tea, Shaun, Destiny, Blair, Clint, Viki, Roxy, Tomas, Dani, the remaining two Fords, Natalie, and I believe McBain.

  • Hugh

I’ll star in it for half price

  • Nick

I wonder how the OLTL/General Hospital merger they’ve had in place for a while now will affect this.
GH has been at its best with the OLTL writers, and the characters of Todd and Starr have really contributed to the show. McBain, not so much. He should go back to OLTL.

The soaps seem to be playing Hot Potato with their writing staffs; didn’t The Young & The Restless get GH’s writing squad a few weeks ago?

Anyway, although I think they should just leave them, I hope this goes through for all the fans (Hey, Mom! ;-) ).

  • TV Gord

This is just cruel, to offer false hope to all of the way-too-delusional soap fans out there. Just cruel.

  • CoolRanchDoritos

    Thanks Stephen.

I got enough of Tea & Blair in Port Charles. Still love you..

Oh yay Destiny, Shaun, Roxy & Tomas..

Don’t care about Clint & Viki..

I was never a fan of the Fords & 50/50 on Dani..

    Natalie & McPain. UGH..

  • Greg

I’m praying to the soap gods that my 2 fave soaps return!!!

Fool me once, shame on me. Fool me twice,……..

For all this to happen, Park does need to work it out with all the unions. They blew it before, because they didn’t have everything in place. But beyond the unions, there are so much that needs to be done, like talent signing, crew and the actual production. Who knows where they are at? It’s still rumors at the point. Most likely there are some form of movement.

If this was going to work out, they needed to get this going and in production a month or so after they went off the air. Will anyone care to watch in 2013?

  • Mosaintsfan

I still think that Oprah missed out on a great opportunity to attract viewers to OWN (I have not yet been there). Hope my fav “Todd” is there!! Yeah- OLTL!!

  • tommie

I just did a bit of research and apparently the rights are about to go back to ABC if Prospect Park does nothing with them, so this screams as a desperate last attempt to try and get the projects going to keep them from having to turn over the rights to ABC.

  • cass rowland

will the shows be back on abc

  • cass rowland

does this meant the chew is cancelled i hope not

  • TimsDale4ever

THIS will be my best Christmas present this year — OMG, OLTL again! Can’t wait. And even if it doesn’t happen, at least this tells me that discussions/interest are STILL going on with these 2 shows, so all is not lost!

  • TimsDale4ever

My SOAPNET is still running, so why not put the 2 shows there to help keep that channel running, as well as the usual episodes of the 4 remaining network soaps? I’m just so happy right now….

  • TimsDale4ever

Cass, ABC or any network will NOT be running these 2 shows when they begin again. They will either be run on some obscure cable channel but most likely on-line somehow. I’ll take OLTL any way I can get it, but I would prefer it to be on some obscure/unheard of cable channel rather than on the internet only. I like watching TV on a TV — not on a computer.
