“THE NFL ON CBS” EARNS HIGHEST-RATED REGULAR-SEASON GAME SINCE LAST YEAR’S TOM BRADY-LED NEW ENGLAND vs. TIM TEBOW-LED DENVER

YESTERDAY’S GAME HIGHLIGHTED BY PITTSBURGH-DALLAS OVERTIME THRILLER IS HIGHEST-RATED OF WEEKEND

CBS Sports’ coverage of THE NFL ON CBS on Sunday, Dec. 16, highlighted by the Pittsburgh-Dallas overtime thriller (and Kansas City-Oakland), earned the weekend’s highest overnight household rating/share of any network in the metered markets with a 17.2/30, compared to last year’s 19.5/36 (New England-Denver), which was the second-highest rated regular-season game since the Network re-acquired the NFL in 1998.

The game rating peaked at 20.8/38 from 7:30-8:00 PM, ET.

CBS’s early regional coverage (Denver-Baltimore; Indianapolis-Houston; Jacksonville-Miami) scored a 10.8/22, up 50% from last year’s 7.2/15 (Cincinnati-St. Louis; Miami-Buffalo; Tennessee-Indianapolis).
