Viewers are still tuning out MSNBC and going elsewhere for news coverage instead of propaganda coverage.
MSNBC is take a bit of a beating. I guess people are learning that MSNBC is just an arm of the White House. (Astute people don’t like that).
Ouch!!! That’s got to hurt! ::grin:::
I must give credit where credit is due and say that Erin Burnett had a GREAT show last night reporting fatcs relating to the Sandy Hook atrocity (at least until the last 10 minutes, when she teased that a gun control rant was coming. I left immediately at that point.)
Can’t we all just get along?
After the Newtown, CT ((Sandy Hook) story dies down, politial news will come back. When that happens, MSNBC will continue the climb that it had prior to the shoting.
hannity wins again
lol at hrj
It looks like MSNBC and CNN are ganging up on Fox News.
It looks like Fox News is also losing some of those older viewers to CNN.
Of course things will be back to normal by the end of the week.
@Marvin
The best show I’ve seen so far covering all angles has been Anderson Cooper.
He’s the best in the business when it comes to covering breaking news.
@BevAG
Do you think that FNC is an arm of the RNC? Or, do you just believe that they are simply a conservative news network and not necessarily coordinating with the Republican Party?
I agree that MSNBC is resistant (if not completely opposed) to criticizing this administration…that’s for sure!!! But, what strikes me about FNC is that it ALWAYS criticizes the current Administration. The law of averages state that the president will do SOMETHING right every now and again.
I guess what I’m saying is that FNC is guilty of exactly the same thing as MSNBC. I remember the coverage at FNC during the Bush presidency. All they ever did was defend Bush and attack his critics…a carbon copy of what MSNBC is doing now. It’s a stunning turn of events, a quite a humorous thing to behold, IMO.
Is CNN only covering the Sandy Hook story or Are they covering other news like the fiscal cliff?
Wow, CNN is showing the shooters home. What a nice house!
FKox News continues to collapse when normal news days occur. What keeps Fox from losing everything is a huge preponderance of old viewers….. Think Hannity and Greta are history and did you see how Bill O changed his views on guns once Rupert came out against them????
usa8888 and Mark2, do you two live in the same alternative universe or have you each created your own??
@DB
We actually remember what Fox News numbers used to be and there no where near those levels. Whereas MSNBC numbers for this month are way higher than they were this time last year.
DB BWHAAAAA…Good One !!!!!
‘Way higher’ doesn’t cut it…Fox was still the most watched cable news in the month of November and in all of the year of 2012 ….it’s fun watching MSNBC tanking this and last week….
@DB – I believe USA8888 and Mark2 are the same person. But I could be wrong because Mark 2 does have some truth in his posts at times.
So, I just saw CNN cover fiscal cliff news. Way to go CNN! It was very far and balanced. I am shocked. I have not watched CNN since Clinton was in office.
As Neil Diamond sang “Use-to-be’s don’t count anymore, they just lay on the floor ’til we sweep them away.”
Funny how the MSNBC Gang of Four here compares Fox’s previous numbers with today’s only after FNC has kicked MESS’NBC’s ass yesterday, that’s pretty fricken sad.
FOX was #1 in the demo in every time slot above except tying with CNN at 7pm. Erin Outfront, no less. And, HRJ: We CAN get along if you see the light and admit that MSNBC won’t continue its Election time “climb.” Not until maybe 2014, the next year of national elections.
@marvin and @mark2
I gotta go with mark2 on this one… nobody has covered this better than AC360. Never really cared for that Burnett girl. You would think CNN could hire more grown-ups.
As we watch Fox continue to tank and MSNBC come on strong, we see Boehner trying to persuade his right wing radicals in the House to do what the American people want: enact Obama’s fascal cliff solution. But the right wing does not get it–that’s why they lost so badly in the election. That’s why Rove couldn’t believe his eyes when he saw the results going democtratic. He ordered all the Fox news people to check into it further, sending Megan Kelly doown to interview the Fox statisticians. Of course, the statisticians knew the GOP had lost badly. This, in spite of the GOP’s voter supression strategy……
I think we’re starting to get to Mark 2 or usa8888 or whoever…they’re starting to crack up now….another hour of watching O’Reilly will send them over the edge… giggle

How did Bill change his views on guns?
