We're into the holiday season for the Renew / Cancel Index and this post before the holiday break gives readers a chance to pick which shows they'd cancel were they a network programmer. You can vote as many times as you'd like, pick as many as you'd like. I've included every show, even canceled ones, so that no one feels left out!
Scheduling note: The Renew / Cancel Index will return with new Indexes and predictions on January 8, 2013 and will then only use the ratings since December 31, 2012 for its calculations for the remainder of the season. Expect prediction changes in the first weeks of 2013.

The Renew/Cancel Index is the ratio of a scripted show's new episode adults 18-49 ratings relative to the new episode ratings of the other scripted shows on its own network. It's calculated by dividing a show's new episode Live+Same Day adults 18-49 average rating by the Live+Same Day new episode average of all the new scripted show episodes on the show's own network. The network's average ratings in the calculation are not time weighted (ex. hour long shows are not weighted twice what 30 minute shows are).
(F) -Fridays: Shows airing on Fridays were renewed with significantly lower than average Indexes.

After I cancel TMP, B&K, FRINGE, TMD, I would uncancell Terra Nova. I would also put Glee on Tues at 8 and NG after Glee.
hope they canceled Glee next season.

@Wright
Glee should have been cancelled a long time ago.
Like two years ago when it was the #1 scripted show on TV?
Please Cancel Ben & Kate asap. FOX should try repeats of Family Guy or The Simpsons in that spot. I think they would perform better.
I feel Animation Domination needs to be broken up. The Simpsons would be going into its final 25th season anyways. So why not just move it to another night to help out build up other shows. Another animated program should get the benefit from airing after Football.

I like the idea of Bobs Burgers on a Tuesday.
The only shows I would keep are Bones, New Girl, The Mindy Project, and Fringe. Everything else can go.
FOX Scripted Average: 2.0
I’ve compiled all off the scripted ratings data for FOX this season. All of the seasonal averages listed below (and the scripted average) are up-to-date as of Sunday, December 16, 2012.
Shows Above Average:
The Simpsons – 2.9 (–)
Family Guy – 2.9
New Girl – 2.4 (–)
Glee – 2.3 (–)
American Dad – 2.2
Bones – 2.1
Shows Equal to Average:
Bob’s Burgers – 2.0 (–)
Shows Below Average:
The Cleveland Show – 1.8 (–)
Raising Hope – 1.7
The Mindy Project – 1.7
Ben and Kate – 1.4
The Mob Doctor – 1.0 (–)
Fringe – 1.0
**(+) indicates a weekly increase in the average
**(–) indicates a weekly decrease in the average
“The Mob Doctor” is the only watchable show on FOX — aside from “Fringe” which I am not watching since I got behind and if I ever watch it I want to start back up with Season 2.
I honestly don’t understand why no one gave this show a chance. It really works well, and the further into the season it goes, the better it gets. I
@Networkman
I like your idea in theory, but last time Fox tried something like that, they threw King of the Hill on Tuesday’s at 8pm.
Here’s how that turned out: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/King_of_the_Hill#Television_ratings
Yeah.
Not to mention the timeslot moves that caused Family Guy and Futurama to be canceled.
Their current strategy of keeping the animated comedies together is working, It’s not always a ratings winner, but it’s a stable night that always performs decently/well. Fox doesn’t have a lot of those anymore.
Well at least most networks this year are airing the episodes that they have even of cancelled shows. Both 666 and Last Resort are getting proper finales and airing all episodes whereas 6 or 7 years ago they would have been dumped after a few eps.
Shows will always get cancelled but its great to see so many networks airing all the eps they ordered. Partners and Animal Practice are the exceptions but I think CBS will air Partners remaining eps next summer and NBC posted Animal Practice’s unaired eps online.
@The Hafk
I understand. It is just that The Simpsons is close to ending. So Family Guy would be the logical choice to take over its spot. I don’t know if two hours of animation would be as strong without it. American Dad and The Cleveland Show probably have 1 to 2 seasons left. But both could help out another night. The 2 hours of scripted comedies are not working. So that is why I thought it would be great to scatter both the animation and scripted comedies throughout the week.
Ben & Kate and The Cleveland show should be cancelled (with cleveland returning to family guy). Leaving 2 hours of drama, 1 sitcom and 1 cartoon space free. Or they should just increase the number of episodes of the other 4 cartoons.
I really hope they don’t cancel the Mindy Project. It is so funny! But glee is definitely getting stale; it’ll probably be renewed though. Ben and Kate is also stale but I think that Mindy just needs to find its audience.
Cancel New Girl(horribly unfunny), Bob’s burgers(awful voices and the worst animation this side of adult swim), Cleveland show(nothing to add here), and bones and Glee just because. Keep Ben and Kate(ben is awful but the rest of the cast is funny and charming) and the Mindy show, along with Hope. Never saw what everyone did in New Girl, sure Zooey’s cute, but the rest of the cast couldn’t act their way out of a paper bag and the writing is horrible.
