I predict The Voice ratings will be 5.9 tonight
NBC will be very happy
Glad Gossip Girl is done for!! Good riddance!
Maybe that retention for Revolution after The Voice isn’t so bad after all.
Take It All had a 2.2 demo last Monday and Tuesday and slightly more than seven million viewers with The Voice as a lead-in in its first two episodes. Without The Voice as a lead-in, Take It All slid to low-to-mid 1s for its next four airings.
1600 Penn has the same 2.2 demo and slightly fewer than seven million viewers in its premiere episode following The Voice. The Voice will be not available in January to be a lead-in so 1600 Penn is DOA.
Didn’t watch 1600 Penn and yes it may have been bad, but remember when The New Normal premiered and everyone thought it would be DOA without The Voice and it is performing relatively well
1600 Penn is the worst new show this year that I’ve seen. Absolutely dreadful & I feel Bill Pullman deserves better than this excrement. I can’t believe P&R is getting moved back to 8:30p on Thur to make room for this garbage. This essentially kills off Do No Harm that follows 1600 on Thur.
How Will ‘The Voice’ Finale Rate Tonight? (Poll)

@ Crim TV
I thought your smile looked a little brighter today (re: GG)!
ASIDE
I think 2BG should be given a little more time to see more growth (ie) no Voice to contend with & it doesn’t look good at all for 1600 Penn
1600 Penn undoubtedly did badly given the timeslot, but I would stop short of calling it DOA. That said, on the pulled-early/one-and-done/renewed axis of failure, it’s certainly somewhere between the first two.
@CrimTV
But The New Normal’s premiere was in a worse timeslot, plus it moved straight into a huge Voice-backed Go On lead-in that propped it up for at least its first few episodes, while 1600 Penn is running headlong into the dying embers of The Office.
I also have my doubts that The New Normal is for real. We’ll see in January once The Voice departs. My guess is that it falls straight into Whitney/GWK/UAN/Community bubble territory.
@cbs viewer
But both M&M and H50 were against the weakest competiton of the night, specially H50, so it doesn’t mean much that they got a few more viewers. HIMYM and 2BG are CBS most strong Monday night shows. they were against The Voice.
Congrats to Five-0 holding steady and strong even in the Holiday season.
Good sign for strength for a 4th or even 5th season hopefully.
Excellent show…:)
I never watched GG, but I respect and understand the love the fans have for the show. It is like when the WB fans had Dawson, Buffy, Gilmore Girls or Smallville. I think CW wanted to separate itself so much from the WB model that they lost their focus and understanding on what people want from that network. And ABC family seems to have capitalized on that viewer sensibility.
GG Series rating fianle are bad because season 1 has over 3,7million a think the people will be back to the show in this finale, but not.
GG was at its best in S1 and S2. You can’t expect it to rebound that much. The bad writing during S3-5 drove viewers away. And once you lose viewers, it’s hard to get them back.
i really liked 1600 Penn!!!! and will watch it every week!
WOW GG
Nice for GG! A great goodbye.
Big increase for Gossip Girl compared to a few weeks ago! As for the bashers… keep showing class during the holiday season.
Well my predictions for 1600 Penn were a bit too optimistic. I thought it would garner at least a 2.4. A 2.2 is quite good for a comedy on NBC but it will not maintain these numbers once moved to Thursday. It is all downhill from here. I’m reading many poor reviews. I say that it will probably settle down between the 1.5-1.7 range. Community should be the show to get the chance to air after The Office. But once again, NBC treats it like the “step-child”.
I am so happy for Mike & Molly. I really love this show. It may not get alot of critical acclaim but it will be a fan favorite like King of Queens or The Drew Carey Show.
ok, ok,,that waa not the best season for GG,but the finale was one of the best ever!!’ old characters coming back. K Bellb in the finale. Thank you so much GG. it was a very glamorous snow I will miss so much! What guilty pleasure am I going to watch now?
