Syfy Reschedules Pulled 'Haven' Episode and Season Finale for Thursday, January 17

Syfy has rescheduled last Friday's episode of Haven -- the penultimate episode of the season -- that was pulled because it contained "scenes of fictitious violence in a high school setting" in light of the events in Newtown, Ct.  That caused some rejiggering with the season finale as well which was originally scheduled to air Friday, December 21.

Now both episodes will be moved to Thursday, January 17 and air back-to-back from 8-10p in order to "preserve the series' serialized nature" according to Syfy.

Good…now I can watch it live.

I hope TBBT and Grey wont be aired that time.

Figured that Syfy had done something like this when I saw an alert here in Canada from Showcase, saying that they had rescheduled the last two eps from this Friday to 18Jan……

Why not on Friday so it will be out of the way of Vampire Diaries/Grey’s Anatomy? I’m glad they’re airing the episodes together, but I think it should be on the night Haven normally airs.

Thank goodness for Dish Network’s Hopper that will record 6 shows at once.

Thank you so much for giving out this information. I had scheduled the Haven finale on my DVR and noticed it was not there anymore. SYFY has scheduled a repeat of Warehouse 13 in Haven’s regular spot. I was not a happy camper!
I’m glad we will be able to see the previously removed ep that contained
a school shooting and well as the finale. Fringe’s series finale is Friday Jan 18 and maybe SYFY didn’t want to run agains it so they picked Thursday. In any event I’m just glad I’ll be able to see both shows.

The final two episodes were fantastic. The finale leaves you in literal tears of sadness, shock, and awe.
