I’d love to see ABC PR counter this!
juggernaut
I LOVE Elementary. Best show on TV
PBS with ABC War Chest is suing CBS over Sherlock Holmes character Elementary is stealing its Master Piece Sherlock Holmes! Both shows have Sherlock in 21st century! CBS says its show has female Dr Watson and its show staged in New York! However CBS! You’re hypocrite!
Great numbers!
How can either network sue the other if they don’t own the character? Besides SH was around a good 50+ years before either network.
I think this shows that Person of Interest should have been the show after the Super Bowl. It has improved it ratings and the Super Bowl would lift it even higher.
I don’t know if they did it on purpose but was the ‘by the numbers’ thing a reference to this website? that would be amaze
#1 Fastest-growing network primetime program Person Of Interest
Hard to believe at first when it can’t even beat Grey’s Anatomy and its ratings seem flat vslast season. Maybe it includes DVR lift?
In fact they are wrong the number 1 new series is Revolution no elementary (unless they are talking about viewers).
What do the tvbythenumbers crowd think cbs will finish at after season is over.
What do the tvbythenumbers crowd think cbs will finish the season at?
Sorry when went and looked at page post wasn’t there, only when reloaded it.
CONGRATULATIONS CBS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@Martin, They have the AFC Championship in Primetime and the Super Bowl. #1 in all measures for sure. #2 is where it gets interesting. Before the season, most thought FOX, but with their current ratings, it’s hard to see them catching up to ABC or NBC, especially since they don’t have NFL overruns in the spring.
CBS should be in first place 18-49 way before the Super Bowl
@ Mon
POI has a 19% INCREASE over last year, so how would that be “flat?”
CBS is the #1 Network in DVR “lift.”
@ Max Vrany
This old man never doubted that CBS would be #1
“CBS should be in first place 18-49 way before the Super Bowl”
If by “way before” you mean after the AFC Championship game, that’s possible, but will be close.
If you mean sooner than that, put the bottle down now.
@tv log
I appreciate the attempt of a joke. You might have based the joke on CBS’s lawsuit against the executive producers of The Glass House. CBS could have rubbed it in by saying they have the highest rated reality competition show where the contestants lived in a “house” with cameras following them 24 hours a day.
Revolution was the number one new show I thought
