Sponsors don’t care about total viewers.

@Kangaroo – do you make a habit of not thinking when you make a comment – do you really believe that advertisers aren’t interested in the total viewer package for their ads? I would have a difficult time explaing to my stockholders why I put our advertising dollars into a show that is watched by six million viewers but has a higher percent of 18-24 viwers than the 20 million that watch a show we didn’t advertise on. The more people who see our ads equals a higher percentage of potential customers and that is what drives an advertiser to invest.

While I get your point, it’s a widely accepted fact that the demos are always more relevant than total viewers.
