Tapper to Anchor New Weekday Program Beginning in 2013
Accomplished Washington journalist Jake Tapper, who has served the last four years as ABC’s senior White House correspondent and is a best-selling author, joins CNN as anchor of a new weekday program and CNN’s chief Washington correspondent, it was announced today by Ken Jautz, executive vice president of CNN/U.S.
Wow, Greta took a big beating last night.
Fox Cable ratings continue to tank and MSNBC is on fire. Meanwhile, the t-bags in the House try to push Lyan Ryan’s fiscal solution which the American People (includding the Republicans) don’t want. The right wing GOP continues to alienate the middle class, women, gays, blacks, latinos, the young, etc. The right wingers do have the good old boy country club set and the religious fantatics in their camp,…and Norquist…………..
Tapper apparently read the proverbial “handwriting on the wall” (Book of Daniel,5:2ff) after the ABC Broadcast network axed “Nighline” for the variable Jimmy Kimmel. When Kimmel hits the bulls-eye, he’s great, but some of his stuff resembles daytime TV. And his, um, “taste” in “music” is beyond execrable. So Tapper relized that CNN would place more emphasis on NEWS than Entertainment, and made his decision thusly. But I’m dedicated to Rachel Maddow and the guy who spells Laurence incorrectly and WILL NOT BE SWAYED. Good job Wednesday night RM & LO’D!

Certainly not Rupert Murdoch, since he’s paying Hannity several times more than NBC Universal is paying Maddow, for inferior demo results.
Okay boss, I’m losing almost 40% of my lead-in show’s audience, but look at the bright side: you’re paying me a lot of money!
Interesting that Jake Tapper joins CNN as anchor. He was the reporter who asked Obama, “Where you been?” Which, of course, we’re not used to reporters challenging the Great Wizard of Oz Obama on anything!! Only Fox News does that, and the Libs do everything they can to minimalize Fox.
BUT there might be hope for the American people after all with this Jake guy. Maybe this is the turnaround. Maybe CNN wants to really strike ahead in this horse race and purposely NOT be the arm of the White House like MSNBC is. Maybe CNN realized the only way they can stay in this race is if they become real news people and FINALLY make the Obama Administration answer to some of the garbage they’re hiding from the American people.
If I’m surmizing this correctly, I’m SO happy about that. THAT’S how the American people win.
I love, love, love Fox News. But if CNN is going to do what all reporters should be doing and making Obama and his administration answer questions, then I’m like, “You go, CNN. This is SO great.”
What that will do is make all reporters more aggressive towards this Administration, which they always should have been. Fox will even get more aggressive, and MSNBC will be so far behind because CNN and Fox combined will make it SO clear that the only thing the MSNBC watcher gets is what Obama wants them to get.
And, yeah, for this Jake Trapper. I loved his, “Where you been,” question to the Wizard of Oz Obama. I stood up and applauded right in my own home!!! FINALLY a news reporter other than Fox News who behaved like a journalist.

Ralphy forgot to mention that Hannity and Greta got destroyed. Two out of the three prime time slots, Fox lost. Prime time is the most important. Who cares about the day time. People are at work. These are just old people who stay at home. Fox News lost two prime time slots Ralphy boy. You should try using facts. I know you’re not used to it because you watch Fox. Obama won Ralphy. Have you accepted that yet? Or are still in your delusional denial?
The important point here is that Obama made Tapper look stupid after the question he asked. Make no mistake about it: CNN will never be as backward thinking as FOX, whose ratings are tanking, as MSNBC’s rise…..
Hannity’s radio show absolutely bombed in Boston. The station that carried it cancelled his show and even the right-wing format and switched to all-comedy. Nobody noticed the difference.

Obama said, “Hey, it’s not like I’ve been on vacation.” That response gave the American people to go over in their minds all the vacations that Obama has had, which is more than any other President in history.
Obama’s response to Tapper’s excellent question gave everyone the chance to relive all these VERY expensive vacations Obama has taken and his golf games and his basketball playing and his upcoming four-million-dollar taxpayer paid vacation to Hawaii.
The American people are the winner with a journalist that’s going to ask the Wizard or Oz Obama, “Where you been?”
