BevAG,
About Obama’s vacations, I was watching Hannity several months ago when Hannity was ranting about all the Annointed One’s vacations, but the guest speaker pointed out that Obama has actually taken less vacation than Bush proportional to the time in Office. But, it seemed to be agreed by all on the show that over half of Bush’s vacations were to his ranch, where the Secret Service and Staffers were put up with minimal costs. So, cost-wise, Obama has probably spent more on vacations than Bush according to that panel. I don’t have any numbers or sources. Anymore, with annual deficits of $1.3 trillion, $4 million doesn’t seem like much. There’s bigger fish to fry. I guess I’m just keeping my fingers crossed that the whole house of cards doesn’t crumble too soon and too fast.
Glass of wine! Ooooh, virtual merlot. My favorite!
After a full 30 seconds of Google searching I couldn’t find anything that specifically contradicted my notion. I mean, I couldn’t find anything that supports my notion, either, but it’s probably safe to assume I’m correct. That..that’s logical, right?
Matthew, what’s logical is that since Fox News has said that Obama has taken the most vacations of any president and the Left isn’t contradicting that statement like they love to contradict anything Fox says than I’m of the belief that Obama has taken the most vacations of any president.
TZCA: I do understand that cost differential with Bush mostly taking his vacations on the Ranch keeping the cost to the taxpayers to a minimun. I remember when the Left went on and on about all of Bush’s vacations, and you’d respond, “But at the Ranch, it’s like an extension of his office. The cost is a whole lot less than if he and Laura traveled,” etc. etc. And the Left would scream that he’s wasting taxpayer dollars, he should be doing his job at the White House.
Now Obama has these extensive, expensive vacations all over, and the Left doesn’t say peep about it. lol
@Matthew
I found that site as well through another website. However, I wanted to see BevAG squirm in her own lies as much as possible before posting these sites.
@BevAG
Here’s a recent article dated Nov 5, 2012 that can help provide you with some facts and a better picture as to how Preseident Obama compares to other Presidents when it comes to Vacation days. I hope now you will stop spreading LIES. In addition, that you will do a little bit more research before taking Fox News or Rush Limbaugh at their word and before regurgitating their erroneous statements like you did.

@BevAG
About all the lefties complaining about Bush wasted taxpayer dollars going to his Ranch, I remember that vividly. I am not attempting to validate the hypocracy of the liberals. There is enough hypocracy to go around.
Greta ,Has lost some more of her viewers after slam on her blog.For sure ME.Watch her ratings go down.
^ “…about Bush wasting…” or “…that Bush wasted…”
Neither here nor there.
“Matthew, what’s logical is that since Fox News has said that Obama has taken the most vacations of any president and the Left isn’t contradicting that statement like they love to contradict anything Fox says than I’m of the belief that Obama has taken the most vacations of any president.”

The tracker I posted on the previous page says otherwise. Amongst modern presidents, Obama is in the middle range, taking quite a few more vacations than Carter and Clinton, but less than W. or Reagan.
@BevAG “what’s logical is that since Fox News has said that Obama has taken the most vacations of any president and the Left isn’t contradicting that statement…”
Are you kidding me? There are tons of sites that gone after Fox News for making that erroneous statement. Have you been living under a rock? Or do you just not know how to use the google search?
Wake up Bev and get with the program. Again, stop believing everything you hear on Fox News.
Let me help you out a bit. Just search the following:
“Which President has taken the most vacation days?”
Most kids nowadays know how to use google, I would suggest you learn how to use it yourself.
Oh crap. I’ve been working so much, my mind is in a daze. I nearly forgot. Tomorrow is the end of the world!
:::offering BevAG that glass of wine before the end of the world:::
It’s just like that Lie that Republican kool-aid drinkers like to make about “President Obama has signed moreExecutive Orders than any other President in our History.”
Then there’s the Lie that “President Obama has increased the National Debt more than all other Presidents combined.”
Both lies but yet they continue to drink the kool-aid and regurgitate the same lies to other people.
::: tipping my glass of wine with TZCA :::
Isn’t the Mayan end of the world supposed to happen around 9:00 a.m. Pacific time??
Should we have an after-the-end-of-the-world party? Remember that other guy who said the end of the world was going to come at the end of October? I think that was two years ago. I was in NJ at my other family’s home and we had an after-the-end-of-the-world party. It was really fun!!!
Mark and Matthew, you’re right. Obama stays as much as he can in the White House trying to get as much as he can done.
Sorry that I was duped into believing otherwise.
Mark, kind of like the lie you like where you think taxing the rich is going to solve our financial problems because you think people should be punished if they have more success than you. Ouch!!!
@Bev
I’m glad you learned your lesson.
As far as taxing the Rich. I’ve never said that is the way to solve our problems. I have always stated that we need a combination of Spending cuts and returning to the Clinton rates.
I will be signing off now. I love watching Bill O’Reilly. He’s on in a few minutes.
You all have a good night.
And if the end of the world doesn’t come in the morning, then I’ll “see” you all tomorrow. If the end of the world does come tomorrow, then it’s been a pleasure spending this part of my life with you all.
LOL at 9:00 am PST. BevAG, I will have to admit that as much as I’ve read (or watched on Discovery/History Channel) about Doomsday prophecy, I never gave much thought to the time of day
Yeah, Harold Camp has predicted the end of the world three separate times. At first, it was for sure, 2nd time it was without doubt, 3rd it was open to reconsideration.
This just in from MSNBC–Boehner pulls his Plan B bill because the right wing kooks in the House are in bed with Norquiest and won’t pass it. More to follow………….
Next, Reid will ask the right wing kooks in the House to up/down vote on Obama’s fiscal cliff plan–the one the majority of American people want. If the right wing kooks vote no on it, they will likely lose many seats in the House in 2014. If they refuse to vote on it, it will be because they would have likely lost many votes in the House in 2014. More to follow….
