lmao ninja
Do the R’s not realize that EVERYONE’S taxes are going up very shortly? EVERYONE’S! Not just their blessed millionaires.
I don’t know how you would judge which President vacationed more. We can see when the take official vacation trips. But G.H. Bush and Barbara are friends of the Queen. They can spend a week in England and call it work. All of the Presidents have friends in positions that they could visit and call it a working trip.
What is a President’s work schedule? I understand when you are the President you are always working. (Many people have jobs like that) But do we expect him to have meetings 40 hours a week 50, 60,70. If he has a day free of meetings and decides to spend the day of the Zoo with his daughters is that a vacation day?
Bush average >28 a year. Seeing how they count weekends that is only 4 weeks. Seeing how that covers holidays also. It’s a lot less than CEO’s
@ninja … Only nutjobs think that Bushmaster assault weapons should be available to the public. The Second Amendment references “well-regulated”. NONE of our rights are absolute. There are restrictions on all of them. If you need me to educate yourself on this simple fact, I will be more than happy to illuminate you on Constitutional law.
The Second Amendment does not protect the public’s right to have bazookas, machine guns, surface-to-air rocket launchers, and it should not protect Bushmaster assault weapons that belong only in soldiers’ hands on fields of war.
And who are these libs to tell me how much fire power I need to protect me and my family? I live in a very rural area, ten miles from the nearest town ( pop 713 ) it would take them at least 20 min to get to my house. Dam if I’m going to relie on the gov to save me.
@ninja … since you are incapable of realizing that you would NEVER need more than 10 rounds in a magazine in your semi-automatic firearm to protect you and your family in your rural home, THIS LIBERAL will do the thinking for you.
That’s why we have laws. For stupid people. Stupid people do not have the appropriate level of moral development to understand why a civilized society has laws and why laws have to be obeyed.
Boss1 ……..Nut job. If you bring a knife to a gun fight.
When the Second Amendment was written, they could not have foreseen clips that can shot a 100 rounds in under a minute. It is funny how the republicans claim to be such strict constitutionalists when issues like gun control arise, yet they are the ones who have the history of changing the constitution whenever it better suits their agenda. Hypocrisy at its worst.
I meant “shoot”. My bad.
@ninja, I, too, have been looking around for a round that ejects a tumbling bullet. It’d be even better if it spreads out nanotech razors and spits poison. If you come across any, please let me know.
The media and the dem have made taxes the issue. But our spending is the problems.
@usa8888 – I just repeated what CNN said. I have not seen the plan…… and I had made that post at 1 pm est. Did understand why it posted so late.
@red – what? I’m just surprised that at 1pm est today. Someone on CNN said that the plan Obama offered wasn’t the plan he ran on.
Boss………….. I expect you must have more experience with guns to be such a good shoot to take care of three burglars with 20rd pistols. I hope to be as good as shoot as you someday. And how did you you come up with 10 round to be sufficient to protect yourself under any circumstances?
TZCA………….Still looking but if usa888 says they exist it must be true.
@ninja, it sure doesn’t. I even saw a commercial where a gal met up with a French model she met online, and that finally proved to me that everything on the internet is true.
Cathy–how many times do I have to tell you that spending is not the problem during a bad recession and depression. You should enroll in a graduate economics program. Today the right wing t-bags Plan B included cuts to child tax credit, food stamps, meal on wheels for elderly while increasing defense spending when it is not called for… but because there were increases in tax rates for millionaires, the right wing kooks would not support Boehner. The t-bags are now in control of the GOP, which will mean defeat for the GOP in 2014…………
^ replace doesn’t with does
Ninja and all other right wingers–the fragmenting and tumbling bullet is widely shown on You tube and has been around for 40 years. If you know anything about guns, you should know about this……….
@ninja … you can sleep well tonight. No person of color is coming to rob you in the middle of bumfookegypt. Your fear of three burglars coming to rob you borders on paranoia.
The bottom line is that NO person should be able to outarm the police. And, no clips above ten rounds should be legal.
And, Lance, you are correct. The Right is so hypocritical. They are so hell-bent on “original intent” and the sticking to the exact text of the Constitution, as if the world has not changed in over 200 years. So, I say go for it. Let them arm themselves with muskets that can shoot only one shot every 15 seconds or so.
I’ll say it again. ONLY NUTJOBS defend a person’s right to own a Bushmaster assualt rifle. Fringe nutjobs who need to go live by themselves in the mountains of Montana somewhere so they will do no harm to society. Because I don’t want you as my neighbor or a part of my community.
oh, oh, oh….and if I could have it spit fire out its arse, that would be great too.
The right wingers in the House had in their bill also banning unemployment benefits while giving people making $900000/yr huge tax cuts. These right wingers are part of Romney’s supporters who hate the middle class……..
