    Will ‘The X Factor’ Get a Boost for Its Finale Tonight? (Poll)

    I am predicting ‘The X Factor’ Finale will get Fox a 5.1 rating and have 16 million viewers.
    I am saying this because Simon Cowell said it will do better than The Voice did on NBC.

    I think tonight’s show will tell if Fox needs to do with ‘The X Factor’ and their other shows. CBS has been running Survivor against it, and Survivor has been beating it the last few weeks.

    I also agree with Patrick Ausgewahlt

    It will only get a boost because it won’t have much competition.

    Since Last year’s finale earned a 3.8. and Simon Cowell says he is going to pull out all the tricks to get ratings, if ‘The X Factor’ Finale does not get at least a 4.0 Fox has a lot of thinking to do. There highest rated shows American Idol and ‘The X Factor’ having sinking ratings is not good.

    was Leann Rimes drunk on The X Factor last night?
    why did Fox let her go on !

  • Dillan

    Poor X Factor :(

  • CenterGravity

    What a night of garbage, except for CF and the CBS repeats.

  • THE OLD MAN

    Only watched Moonshiners & Amish Mafia last night, no nets at all

    Really bad numbers all around, but XFAC should have done much better than it did

    @Honey Badger

    I watch X Factor. I even find this overproduced mess fun to watch. But I don’t think it will ever become the hit it was supposed to be. Idol and The Voice are the kings of the genre.
    Read somewhere that Simon is trying to woo Rhianna for an undislosed sum (prob more than even Britney is getting). If it doesn’t happen somebody big will join in to replace the departing LA Reid.

  • Ruan

    “The Middle” repeats better than “CSI”. How about that.

    The editors of the site keep on reminding us that we have to compare a show’s ratings to the average for the network it airs on, not to the others. Yes, “The X Factor” is a flop compared to other networks, but if we compare it to the FOX average, not quite.

    I said this in the prelinary thread and I have to say it again here, what a dead night of TV. :-/
    It was difinitely a night to catch up on and or clear out your DVR.

    @Fred

    Haha? XFactor was never supposed to be a “hit” want Simon predicting 20million viewers plus and was bragging that it take the musical competition by storm.

    The X Factor hasn’t went near that number all season, so there’s a 99.9% chance that’s NOT going to happen. Simon Cowell also said The Voice would trail his show in the ratings all season, and look how that turned out.

    The X Factor is doing bad even for FOX, because it trails its network partner, American Idol, by such wide margins, despite having the advantage of airing in the latter show’s timeslot with the latter show’s former judge.

    Chicago Fire has regularly grown out of its lead-in. Hope TPTB take that into account when renewal time comes around. Things have really ramped up, I’m glad it comes straight back on on Jan. 2. I don’t want to wait to find out what happened to Dawson and Shay.

    Tate Stevens won. How dumb. carly should of won. Oh well we wont hear from him again.anyway. Well see her before.him. gauranteed.

  • Tate Stevens

    I agree Chicago Fire has major potential this is easily the biggest surprise of the season so far as I had no idea this would NBC’s top new hit so far. This show has the drive to get bigger and bigger as the fanbase seems to have grown a lot these past few weeks.

    I think what’s going to help CF in the long run is these weeks where people have sampled it against CSI reruns.

    NBC needs to take advantage of those first two Wednesdays in January against repeats where shows like Whitney, Guys with Kids, and Chicago Fire can start gaining new viewers.

    I Heart Chicago Fire!!!!

    I wonder if LeAnn Rimes had one to many adult beverages.

    First off, the second place finisher always gets their music released first, so you’re just stating the obvious. As for not hearing from the winner, he’s a country act, so it doesn’t matter how much pop airplay he gets. He won’t do any worse than Taylor Hicks, and that’s my guarantee.
