usa, companies aren’t moving into California. They’re move out of California. Chambers of Commerce from Nevada and Texas are luring businesses every day out of CA pointing out all the taxes that the businesses will be paying in California and won’t be paying in Nevada or Texas.
California has a Democrat super majority. We’re going to watch how all this voodoo Democrat economics works when the 47 percent of people in California who pay no taxes voted in higher taxes have to pay for their own entitlement programs. I’m moving out of California. I’ll be watching from afar.
As for NRA’s position, I totally agree with it. The only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun.
Good to see FNC doing so well!! Great to see all the squawking, kinda the way the other networks broadcast. Whine, whine, whine..
Apple, I love Sarah McLachlan. Thank you for that Noel.
Good Sunday Morning

Is this the usual government incompetence , or, is the site overloaded ?
Benefits dot gov debuts on YouTube
http://www.benefits.gov/
This is a new site debuting this month. I took the tutorial , & , lo & behold , I could go no farther, even with Goggling other words. As you can see by other posted videos, several have been able to f/u & determine their freebies
Benefits dot gov even toots “ Free Money ,” but they do add, “Not all assistance programs provide cash payments.”
Anyone that can take the test , post results on TVBTN’s. I know of one person that is allowed over $700/m . She is single & makes $53,000/year
@BevAG
You’re welcome. Here’s ‘River’ also from ‘Wintersong’, a favourite from that album.

Hi d.d.
We tied it too and could not through. The line is long when you put out there get your share.
Fox “News” is pushing the absurd AGAIN–they support the NRA in putting a deputy in every school. Of course, anyone with half a brain (that leaves out Wayne La Pierre of the NRA) knows this won’t work (and didn’t at Columbine). Chris Christie (pretty level headed) said that you’d have to have a heavily armed swat officer in EVERY classroom for every school, which would cost hundreds of billions and that may not even work. And wold we even want that??? The answer is, of course, very simple: BAN all assault type weapons,as well as large magazines, and all tumbling and fragmenting bullets. And, of course, ban all video games that make killing people the main objective. And focus on mental health and the prevention of borderline mentally dangerous people….
Apple, how beautiful!!! Reminds me of being a young girl in New Jersey. We skated on Milton Lake.
Hi Moncon !
I think of ‘Tired of It’ often . I ‘ve always been impressed by her . No one here had an inkling that her posts came from a teen age girl.
———–
I love ice skating videos . Although I can no longer do a cartwheel on ice , I still can do a spread eagle, a drunken sailor,arabesques,cherry-flips &, camel spins.
usa, all guns are banned in Norway and that Norwegian killed like 89 people with a semi-automatic.
Like Wayne LaPierre said, and I agree with him: “The only thing that stops a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun,” whether that be a police officer of a citizne.
d.d., I’m impressed that you can still do the things you can on ice.
I can skate. That’s about it. I just go around the rink. I love it. In California we don’t have the frozen-over lakes like we had in NJ. I loved lake skating.
Wayne the stone LaPierre wants to raise everyone’s taxes: he will propose putting armed guards in 100,000 schools at a cost of ??? billions. But as we know, this would only ramp up violence..so we may see gunmen coming to schools in groups, heavily armed (like the taliban), and using all of the NRA’s military style weaponry and body armor. In truth, Wayne agrues the absurd…he wants to protect that huge salary he’s drawing. And everyone knows the 2nd Amendment has nothing to do with anything because no heavily armed individual with a military style assault rifle would stand a chance against the US military. So the right wingers’ arguments go on…ad absurdum.
“of a citizne” should be or a citizen.
Bev–you argue the absurd, like Wayne. All countries which have gun restrictions have VERY low incidence of gun crimes. Only the right wingers–way out ringht wingers–agree with you , Bev…………
Let me give you an analogy: if you have a room in which an air conditioner and heater are running simultaneouly and you want to COOL the room, you turn off the air conditioner. Similarly, you turn off the gun (military style)supply (as in Japan, for example), and you eliminate MOST gun problems. It’s that simple……
@BevAG
d.d., I’m impressed that you can still do the things you can on ice.
I should have qualified my statement. I could still do that 2-3 years ago. TN is too warm for lake skating. I have to wait until I go North to Ohio or Wisconsin to skate, & , we haven’t been there in winter for awhile .
Soooooo maybe I’m getting too old for the fancy stuff. I’ve done quite a bit of indoor skating in the past , but, much prefer being outside.

Before criticizing others, I suggest you go back & read the Fox/California article you mentioned yesterday. Mistakes happen, but, own up to them.
US,
I think you would have more luck banning assault weapons than you would messing with people’s video games (and movies if you wanted to go that far). That would be an interesting debate because you would have Left vs Left.
The funny thing is that it’s not OK to have sex in movies or video games, but you can show movies/games with people getting their throats slit, etc….and that’s OK for just about any age. I understand they even have viideo games that give you points for the number of people you’ve killed. Say what??? Combine this with assault weapons and loony people..and you have a problem.. We should adopt Europe’s standards on thi this type of thing.
good afternoon
