   Hillbilly–that’s like saying the liberals are standing in the way of fiscal cliff solutions when it’s the right wing GOP that’s rejected everything the American People have said–the American People agree with Obama. The right wing even rejects what Boehner and the moderate GOP say. If the right wing would vanish, the country would be a whole lot better off–financially and morally……………..The right wing is in bed with Norquist and La Pierre, who are in the twilight zone…..

   Right wingers–in case you have been asleep, the far right rejected Boehner’s propoal–they don’t any tax rate increase for millionaires and billionaires AND they want to increase middle class taxes. The right wingers are the Problem……………

   Bev <————-proud Right-winger. I'm looking for fiscal conservancy. Nothing I've seen so far from the Republicans or Democrats is showing that they're being fiscally conservative. I'm so proud that the "t-baggers" stood their ground. That's THE first win the Republican party has had in some time.

   Bev <————member of the NRA. I am proud of Wayne LaPierre's position that, "The only one that can deal with a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun."

   Why would someone need an assault weapon? So, you have never heard of home invasion? Home invasions are done when people are home to stole from the person and their homes. It is normal with a group of attackers up to six. So, six person are attacking your home. How many shots do you need to protect yourself and your family?

   A fourty foot shipping container holds about 44,000 pounds so to hold 30,000 tires they would need to be about a pound and a half each….not very likely. Sorry Dave

    I agree 100%. Let's hope they don't get soft over Christmas vacation. If they would say, sure we'll raise taxes after the spending cuts have run their course I bet Nobama & the liberals would say NO! Let the tax increases take effect in 2022.

    I don’t know why the R’s aren’t pointing out there’s no immediate cuts on the table. (Maybe 400-$500 billion over 10 years ) All the polls say folks want spending cuts & of course higher taxes on the rich. Takes a brave (cough cough) politician to get behind taxing the rich.

    Anyways, your post did nothing but confirm what I already stated in one of the many points and statements that I had already made. Thanks for agreeing with me.

    Merry the day before Christmas.

    Why aren’t the Rs pointing out lack of spending cuts….perhaps because they would be called hypocrites. They have around the same dollar amount of cuts as the Ds only in different places. As usual, they want to protect their rich constitutes and stick it to everyone else. I can fully understand the motive of the wealthy but the rest I don’t get. No sense whatsoever.

    Good Morning from Ohio!!!!
    I am here with my Grandkids, son and daughter in law! Got here yesterday and if I survive the rug rats I will stay until Christmas night!!
    so I pulled in yesterday just as my son was unloading the kids from church so I got out of the car and went to say hi. I got back to the car and my dogs (one of them) had jjumped on the button and locked the doors! Yep, locked out! Yep, key in the ignition! Yep, noooooot happy! Took us about 40 minutes but my son and acoat hanger finally got it opened! I guess my puppys just wanted some alone time!

    For those who will not be around tomorrow, Merry Christmas!!
