18-49 leader: “The Big Bang Theory” (2.9) / “The X Factor” (2.7)
Do you have difficulty reading? The Big Bang Theory‘s repeat got a 2.9, and The X Factor got a 3.1, not a 2.7. Why do you have such difficulty understanding that?
@Melissa
The 8:00 half-hour rating for the X-Factor was 2.7. So the Big Bang Theory beat it in the slot.
I hope that after next season X-Factor moves to summer. It’s just eating up valuable primetime Fox could be using to rebuild their lineup with in the fall. It nearly tied TBBT in the demo & got beat in the total viewers count by a rerun.
@Spen B
The 8:00 half-hour rating for the X-Factor was 2.7. So the Big Bang Theory beat it in the slot.
Ah, my bad!
@ Spen B Thank You

The Voice‘s finale beat The X Factor‘s by nearly 2 rating points and 5 million viewers. What does Simon Cowell have to say about that
TBBT up a tick from 2.8 to 2.9.
@ Melissa , you are right Simon Cowell has a lot of explaining to do. Nobody trusts him anymore, and his big claims that The X Factor would beat American Idol best ratings and have more than and he would have more 20 million viewers seem comical now.
8 p.m.
CBS: “The Big Bang Theory” (rerun) (10.9 million viewers, 6.7/11 households)/”Two and a Half Men” (rerun) (8.7 million, 5.4/9)
FOX: “The X Factor” season finale (8.9 million, 5.2/8)
18-4 CBS The Big Bang Theory Repeat BEAT a new FOX The X Factor finale in 18-49 Rating, and beat them by over 2 million viewers!!!
18-49 leader: “The Big Bang Theory” (2.9) / “The X Factor” (2.7)
CBS The Big Bang Theory Repeat BEAT a new FOX The X Factor finale in 18-49 Rating, and beat them by over 2 million viewers!!!
And 9:00PM NBC The Voice Finale just 2 days earlier 4.9 18-49 rating / 14.13 million viewers
Add to this , CBS has been running Survivor against FOX: “The X Factor”, and Survivor has been beating it the last few weeks in ratings and viewers

WOW! X-Factor is still not able to garner over 10 million viewers. And I am satisified to see that The Big Bang Theory actually beat it in the demo.
One can only hope The Voice will follow the trajectory of those equally cheesy singing competition shows in subsequent showings: down, down, down. I will only be happy when the cancellation bear feasts on all of these abominations that have absolutely nothing to do with “reality”. All everyone ever talks about are the celebrity judges whose careers have peaked, not about the competitors. Cancel all these singing competitions!!!! Put real actors and writers to work.
@ Networkman – I agree, and it was delicious to see a REPEAT The Big Bang Theory on CBS beat a new “The X Factor” Finale on Fox in both ratings and viewers. Ouch for Fox

Even the appearance of No Direction couldn’t save this over-produced piece of crap.
wow! so many people here really hate xfactor. what pleasure is there in running down struggling shows and hoping they get cancelled? i actually enjoy the show very much and there are obviously millions of viewers/fans of the show.

Check out the comments section at the bottom. Even I was surprised at how much people hate the over-produced X-Factor.
Would a poster on this website be considered a normal poster if they don’t trash shows that they don’t watch & aren’t trolling or are they not acting normal?
@robrab14
The X-Factor isn’t a “struggling” show as much as it is a show that’s underperforming expectations. If Simon wasn’t so cocky in pitting X-Factor against The Voice and American Idol and if it didn’t have an iconic judge (Spears), then I suspect its ratings would not get nearly as much criticism. In some ways, Simon instigated this battle and lost, and now people are happy he is forced to eat a little crow. Enjoy your show; it’s already renewed for another season! I wish I could say the same thing about my favorite.
@michael
i agree with you; so what’s your favorite?
@robrab14
Not to start any wars, but my favorite is Scandal.
tbbt ratings sound strange. x-factor is horrible. The Vampire Diaries proves that it has less than 1 million fans, horrible too (you should stop tweeting and watch the show once in a while)
