We haven’t heard much from Lian Ryan lately—I guess his plan to eliminate Social Security and Medicare pretty much sealed his fate except with the t-bags, who are becoming an increasingly small minority…..
Doug-Z–Costco is the most successful retailer in the world and growing by leaps and bounds because it gives its customers great value and high quality and its employees a good salary. Other companies would love to be Costco……
Doug–I hope you and the t-bags saw Jim’s address at the DNC–it was fabulous!!!!!!!!!
Can we all be honest about something – Who among us consistently pays more, whether in taxes or other, than we have to? Those who talk about their fair share, what do you do when you file your taxes? Do you take deductions, count your medical expenses, etc? I can personally say that I have an accountant and when we meet with him to do our taxes we do not go out of our way to pay more than we should. We pay what we should, to be clear, but not more than that. We also shop at a C0stco since some things are cheaper, should we pay more somewhere else so we would pay more in taxes? What about people who buy things online?
Doug-Z–would you please tell us if you would like to eliminate Social Security and Medicare?
Bobby–the reason people shop at costco is it is a superb VALUE. And, yes, if you are super rich, you should be either paying more in taxes or contributing to charity, whatever it might be. If a super rich person does neither, he or she is extremely GREEDY<<<

No Dem has ever released theirs. Why do you not use your education. Gore, Kerry, Clinton, Ever. prove me wrong, you can not. You are smart. Why do you do uneducated statements. I also want Rockefeller s, DuPont, Kennedy, Johnson, ect, etc
usa8888
Your uneducated statement again. Do you ever read before you post. Have you ever read anything I have said. NNooooooooooooo!
You are smart, show it.
usa8888
Now I understand why people make fun of you. It is not your political views.
usa88
Everybody knows my views what a uneducated question.
Doug Z–you can’t answer my questions and you can’t refute my positons–because YOU are on the wrong side of logic…………
US,
But the definition of “rich” is in the eye of the beholder. People in some areas probably would think my wife and I are rich, but compared to other NY/NJ incomes we are not. We may be viewed as greedy because we take legal deductions or in their view do not give enough to charity.
My point was that ALL of us would pay less in taxes if we could but only the “rich” are viewed as greedy. Now if your point is that the super rich should feel more of an obligation than others I can see that, but as long as stashing money in Bermuda is legal they are only doing what many others would do if they could.

This was so ………, I have to say it. Even the fact is my education said not to, Are you dumb or just lazzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzy.
The word in the south for people like you is , Bless his poor little hart.
Mr usa
I have debated you in the past. One would think you would remenber and not show you do not care or can not remember anything. Everybody knows what I think. You do to. Bless your little tiny hart./
Mr USA
One of your dems here. You like it do you not.
*Facebook. The social networking giant’s founder Mark Zuckerberg told Obama in 2011 at a town hall forum that he was “cool” with paying higher taxes. But neither Zuckerberg nor his many Facebook execs are actually down with following through. Co-founder Eduardo Saverin renounced his American citizenship in a blindingly obvious bid to evade nearly $70 million in taxes. In addition, Zuckerberg and a half-dozen Facebook insiders are all skirting hefty estate and gift taxes on their family Facebook shares held in annuity trusts. According to the Wall Street Journal the legal maneuver is called a “grantor-retained annuity trust, or GRAT,” and the total Facebook tax avoidance sum adds up to at least $200 million. A “cool” $200 million, that is.

What the heck are you talking about. Kerry released the last 5 years of his returns in 2004, plus he had another 15 years out there from senate campaigns; Gore released his returns going back to 1991, and Clinton released 12 years worth when he first ran in 1992. Dole is still the most transparent overall though, having released returns going all the way back to 1966 when he ran against Clinton.
Over those three decades, the number of years of released tax returns went from a high of 30 by Republican Bob Dole in 1996 to a low of Four by Democrat Michael Dukakis in 1988.
Jimmy Carter one year, Humphrey McGovern , both zero years . Dukaias 4 years,Kerry s wife did not have tooooooooooooo, right.
Dole 39 years Bush nine, Bush 12 years.
Look at the Dems,
@Doug Z: And? Reagan released 1 year, McCain and Romney released 2 years. My point wasn’t who’s ‘better’ at releasing their tax returns, which is a juvenile partisan argument in the first place; my point is that, in a move that isn’t uncommon for you, you threw out something that was completely false, either because you’re naturally mendacious, or because you have tendency to throw out BS ‘facts’ that you believe MIGHT be true, all for the sake of your near relentless propagandizing.
Our system is so broken we might as well all just sit back and enjoy the road down!! These fools dont give a crap about what the people want! If any of us made desicions in our jobs without reading what we are saying yes to we would be getting some of that extended unemployment!
Senators Got 154-Page ‘Fiscal Cliff’ Bill 3 Minutes Before Voting on It
The U.S. Senate voted 89-8 to approve legislation to avoid the fiscal cliff despite having only 3 minutes to read the 154-page bill and budget score.
Multiple Senate sources have confirmed that senators received the bill at approximately 1:36 AM on Jan. 1, 2013 – a mere three minutes before they voted to approve it at 1:39 AM.
The bill is 154-pages and includes several provisions that are unrelated to the fiscal cliff, including repealing a section of ObamaCare, extending the wind-energy tax credit, and a rum tax subsidy deal for Puerto Rican rum makers
Matthew
You worked hard for your Demo point. All the way back to Reagan.Forget the Demos?
Good
work.
Matthew
Where is your point. With the Demos. be the worst. Jonhn Kerry is a trust fund puppy, like DuPont, Rockefeller . and we will never know the truth with him.Where are you demanding your trust fund Demos. They have all the money.
