   mark:: i truly believe that whats good for israel is good for america…we are allies , and the truth is israel will probably do our fighting rather than the other way around…obama would have never blew up sadats nuclear attempt nor would they have syria…just imagine where america would be today with iraq and syrisa with nuclear weapons.. who do you think will protect the world, by protecting themselves, eventually from irans attempt at the bomb…you need to concede the petty things from the big picture…

   I agree what’s good for Israel is good for America as well, that being said I don’t believe what AIPAC and Netanyahu believe is good for Israel is good for Israel or the US.

   mark:: do not use obama logic on me…70% of jews are liberal, but jews are just maybe 12% of liberals and maybe 8% of the democratic vote, thats why obama won even though he fell down with the jewish voters do to the afforementioned…

   mark:: listen, i am a black guy who grew up in a jewish, italian and black neighborhood…the jewish people are loyal to the point of stupidity sometimes, but i must tell you…they do not take crap since the holocost, but never, ever, betray their friends…chuck hagel would be dangerous for our secretary of defense…

   70% is still a huge chunk of voters who don’t believe Democrats hate Israel(or don’t view it as a major issue as some on the right). Beyond their is many people in Israel who share my views on how things should be run(less warhawk and more peacekeeper) their does that make them anti semantic as well?

   I’ll tell you my big issue with Israel, it’s not Jewish people, it’s idiot extreme christians who will support anything that means war will come to the middle east so Jesus comes sooner. honestly, if the bible warns you about armegeddon, wouldn’t you try do everything to stop it?

   I think the problem is FOX news tries to make it out that everybody in Israel somehow has the same mindset as Netanyahu. Their is people there who have opposing views and I support them. In the US you say something negative against Netanyahu, you get called antisemitic by the right as if he is the only view that matters

   Cathy I am an American who married a Canadian (second) and live in Windsor . I grew up in Northern Michigan and have been in Windsor for several years.

   So Obama picks a former Republican Senator(Chuck Hagel) as Secretary of Defense and the Republicans are making an issue out of it. Go figure. Maybe they would prefer Barney Frank. lol
