    POI rules.

  • Aizen

    God, I love POI with a passion.

  • Vanessa

    POI is a great show

  • Devon

    Elementary is my favorite new show of the last few years. Very clever, but not in a “Aren’t we so cute” NCIS way. I still need to catch up with POI. It had sort of a slow start, but everyone tells me it’s awesome.

    Way to go “Big Bang” crew. What is impressive is that they had one of the better matched BCS bowl games on ESPN to contend with. But I bet, people watched “Bang”, get the kickoff, see Oregon off to a fast start, then went to P.O.I.

  • Aizen

    @Devon

    POI *is* awesome. I can see why people would think it starts off as slow, but the general narrative is established, it quickly evolves after the first few episodes. It is definitely one of the most “original” shows to be conceived/created in several years, especially for broadcast television which is filled with nonsensical reality shows.

    This was not unexpected. The NFL Thursday schedule is completed and all except FOX were in repeats. Next week should be more telling as far as the remainder of the season is concerned.

    @Vance, Aizen and Vanessa
    Agree with all of you. Person of interest is keeping people’s interest and it shows.

    @Devon
    It’s supposed to be slow. The producers want to take their time telling the story so you can get to know the characters one episode at a time.

    First NBC has an uptick, and now CBS. I honestly expected it from CBS but NBC i did not see coming, well I did see it possibly gaining a tenth or two in demo but it way exceeded expectations.. I wonder if CW aired new episodes while the other networks were repeating if they would experience season and series highs? I bet only Arrow, Supernatural, and Vampire Diaries would be the only shows with a possiblity of Beauty and the beast just b/c it is behind vd. God knows CW has a horrible reputation of rebranding old shows such as 90210 and melrose place, I hope it does not effect the premiere of Carrie Diaries, not to mention that the show has a lot of gossip girl creators behind it. Maybe CW should have premiered TCD when all networks are in repeats!

    “Person of Interest” was amazing last night. As usual, good storyline, great directing and acting, etc. Everything’s top-notch.
    So nice to see it doing so well. It’s an amazing show.

    “Elementary” is also getting better. I’ve liked the show since it started, but it keeps getting better and better.
