   MTV has found their new successful trashy show, lol!

   RHOM up a tenth from last week’s first part reunion. Great season, but just didn’t catch on with Bravo’s audience.

   Buckwild had a lot of publicity as the new “Jersey Shore” so the numbers should have been a lot better. I hope that it fails and maybe society can redeem themselves from the trashy “reality” shows that MTv has become infamous for

   Idc what nobody say. RHOM is not a success just b/c it average 1.2 – 1.3 million views just b/c last season it average like 800,000 views. Compared to any housewive franchise its a fail.

   Bravo will renew it but don’t expect 22episodes like RHOA, RHOBH, RHONJ etc.

   Buckwild is MTV version of Duck Dynasty & HoneyBooBoo. Sad !!!!!!

   Given all the publicity, are these really good ratings for Buckwild? Catfish and ahem, Teen Mom do better.

    Good that RHOM was up a bit for the finale. A lot of times, the second or third parts of the reunion shows go down a bit in numbers.

    Despite what people say, and the so-so numbers (especially compared to other RH franchises), Bravo will renew for a 3rd season. A few reasons why -

    Andy Cohen has publicly stated more than once that he loves Miami and the Miami housewives.

    A few of the stars have stated they would return, and one seemed to state she would not. In fact, the reunion as a whole seemed to set up another season with new feuds and weddings and such in the works. Also, the cast was acting outrageous – especially Ana and Lea, the two farthest from Andy (the position you don’t want to be in at a reunion as that signifies you might get cut from the show). Also, the two closest to Andy – Adriana and Joanna – acting totally crazy, ,trying to bring ratings for another season.

    A final point – the people who do watch Miami – love it. RH of DC was cancelled not only because the ratings were iffy – but mainly because the fans did not connect with the cast or like the ladies. With Miami it is a different story. Like was stated above – I don’t think Miami will ever receive 20 or more episodes like some of the other franchises – but another 15 or so will definitely be in the works for next year.

    Even the Fiesta Bowl pregame between 8 and 8:30 ran well clear of all non-CBS broadcast competition.

    Was there a case for ABC airing it on the main network? Would it even have been contractually possible?

    I, too, want to know House of Anubis’. I also want to know if Nielsen listed it as being on NICK or NAN (Nick at Nite) because, with it premiering at 8, I wonder if Nick is temporarily extending their Thursdays to 9pm during HOA’s season.

    Nickelodeon has had the 8 o’clock hour on Thursday for a while now. Well, given past ratings, I wouldn’t hold my breath on the show scoring higher than 2.3 million viewers. And for once, it’s not Nick’s fault. It has the same timeslot that gave SpongeBob & FOP great ratings last month, and it’s been promoted to hell & back for months.

    Didn’t find Buckwild all that great in any way. Kinda boring throughout but with the very occasional laugh. Glad it started out well and I wish it success.

    Not shocked at all at House Of Anubis’ crappy ratings. The shows not exciting, is cheesy, not suspensful at all, & has no real core. Just another live-action fail by Nick.
