   Decent for AHS but down way down from beginning of the season.

   Castle still doing solid.

   Absolutely horrible for AMERICAN HORROR STORY: ASYLUM.

   The only thing scary about this show is how FX execs must be kicking themselves over the renewal and screaming in horror.

   I turned it on for 5 minutes on Wednesday and saw Jessica Lange singing and dancing. LMAO. WTF?

   TnT renews their original shows that do almost the same as Castle is currently doing so it is definitely doing well for them despite what others say.

   You’re so predictable. You’re getting very boring. The show is a hit on any cable network with those ratings. Can you at least come up with something original with your comments? AHS is awful blah blah blah. SOA is great blah blah blah. Are you really this dumb?

   Keep in mind that they are airing among zero competition (see the ratings spike for Chicago Fire, TBBT, SVU and NCIS repeats on USA)

   As always, when I see Duck Dynasty repeats on the list my heart cries a little.

   TNT has never renewed any of its originals with this kind of ratings. In fact they canceled Leverage with this kind of ratings.

    PS, for example, repeats of The Mentalist average 0.4 in the demo and around 1.5m viewers

    Castle ratings are really great on TNT, much better than the Mentalist and Bones. @silvit and @chriss hate castle, so their opionions are irrelevant.

    NCIS and TBBT are old repeats (which they already aired many times) like Duck Dinasty. Competition is when you have to go against originals -either cable or broadcast. Otherwise there is always competition. The recent ratings of returning broadcast shows and cable repeats tells you that in the last few weeks the competition was weaker, hence they got higher ratings than normal.

    The Mentalist never did good for TNT. It used to do better in 2011 though.

    Dark Blue was canceled indeed. Men of a Certain Age was renewed when it used to get 1.2-1 in the demo. When it got these ratings it was canceled. Southland didn’t get these numbers against full broadcast and cable competition and it also skew very young for TNT.

    Since Castle is also a repeat, shouldn’t we compare its ratings against other old repeats rather than originals?

    CBS has been airing originals this week.

    you’re right! also TNT paid much more money for the mentalist than for castle, but castle is getting the ratings, and for this reason tnt is airing more and more castle episodes every week.

    It’s new for TNT. Unlike The Mentalist, Bones, L&O. We always take into consideration original competition. Otherwise we wouldn’t say that for example TNT originals did bad this winter run vs their summer run.

    CBS wasn’t airing any originals on Wednesday. CM, Modern Family, CSI, Scandal etc. etc. were all repeats.

    Yet you can’t deny it’s underperforming, especially on a weak night like last Wednesday.

    @Max The scene with Jessica dancing/singing was probably one of the best scenes this season. If you watched the show you would actually see it served a purpose.
