Foxnews wins again!!! The Sharpton channel loses again.
Its time for greta to step aside for lou dobbs….
The Murdoch-owned NY Post ran an article about the people fleeing the Faux Right-Wing Propaganda Network right after Flappingjowlsman signs off and Cement-head comes on. It averages one-million people per weeknight; exactly what happened Friday. Gotta love Lawrence O’Donnell’s total viewers figure: 666 thousand. He’s literally bedevilling Greta.
STUPID HANNITY!! He’s got alot of nerve beating Racheal in all the demos!
hannity wins again!!!
Let me get this straight: Greta has 977,000 (or 47% more viewers) than Mr. ‘Plagiarism’ O’Donnell but O’Donnell is “literally bedevilling Greta.” I don’t get it. Even if you want to ‘crow’ about beating Greta by 6,000 in the 25-54 Demo, most advertisers would still see that as as statistical tie and go with Greta because of her overall strength in total numbers. Meanwhile, after a decline following the election, Hannity is beating Maddow in all the demo’s. Interesting spin, Laurence.
In terms of judging ratings, I don’t think the past 2 weeks is a good period to judge things due to the holidays, by the end of this week we will get a better idea where all stations stand(ie not vacation time, no real major things going on, etc).
Early Start/Starting Point back to dismal ratings around 200.
Dana I like Great but I agree with you–Lou Dobbs would be better in that slot.
@Mike – No, advertisers wouldn’t go with Greta on the strength of her “overall” numbers. Doesn’t work that way. Demo winner = ad winner. Period.
The problem with Greta is that she sometimes has a very tired look by Tuesday already. Of the three FNC primetime programs, she has the best inside-the-beltway interviews, which probably isn’t that interesting to younger viewers.

Maybe she can gain more respect if she didn’t have Donald Trump and Sarah Palin on their so often. lol

Cathy I am an American who married a Canadian (second) and live in Windsor . I grew up in Northern Michigan and have been in Windsor for several years.
It looks like Bret Baier lost some weight and Shep gained a bit. Starting the new year fair and balanced.

Remember the two government shut downs during Clinton’s tenure . The 1990’s shutdowns taught the Republicans their limits & while the 1994 midterms taught Democrats theirs, Clinton had said.
The U.S. might run out of funds to pay all its bills as early as Feb. 15 after it exhausts emergency measures undertaken when it hit the $16.4 trillion debt ceiling at the end of last month, the Bipartisan Policy Center said today. “Based on financial data from Treasury, the estimate is that the government will be unable to pay all of its bills as early as Feb. 15 .
What happens if we go into a government shutdown ?
Employees would not be sent home, and checks would continue to be issued. If the Treasury was low on cash, however, there could be delays in honoring checks and disruptions in the normal flow of government services.”
But with failure to raise the debt ceiling “If Congress fails to increase the debt limit, the government would have to stop, limit, or delay payments on a broad range of legal obligations, including Social Security and Medicare benefits, military salaries, interest on the national debt, tax refunds, and many other commitments,” the Treasury Department has said .
We have more serious financial problems than we had in the 90’s & have almost no wiggle room.

From where I sit up here in the frozen north in Canada, the so-called ‘fair and balanced’ FNC is far more biased than CNN and I virtually never watch MSNBC. CNN just comes across to me as more moderate in their overall approach but, apparently, from the ratings, what do I know!
Hey Crazy,
I think CNN does lean a bit left but does present other points of view (at least their website does)
@sunshine, I like Windsor. When my kids played Hockey, I went there a lot. Normally, I spend boxing day at the Columbia outlet store, Huron-Church. I missed it this year.
I like Lou more then Greta.
CNN has surprised me lately. They still lean to the left but they have some right leaners at times.
Letmethink:: back when Lou dobbs was on CNN he match Chris Mathews in the ratings…presented with a fox show he would romp…if fox got him uncuffed from the business angle he would be awesome revealing the hypocrisies of the left…
Soledad O’Brien’s constant interrupting, arrogance, and rudeness is driving me to [choke] Morning Joe. Will somebody PLEASE tell her to JUST SHUT UP? We want to hear the experts, not the talking head.
