Hey Rat–Obama won by 5 million votes and a huge margin in the electoral college. Further, almost every t-bag candidate was defeated and Bachmann barely won. The Repubs lost the women’s vote by a huge margin, as well and the hispanics, the blacks, the middle class, the Asians, the under 35′s ,etc. The Repubs did win the Bubba vote, the religious fanatic vote, the anti-government vote, and some of the millionaires’ vote—those who are extremely greedy……
This in spite of the fact the Fox’s Rove and Morris had predicted a landslide for Robme/Ryan…

Well, the NRA Lobby is in TROUBLE now. The whole country is “up in arms” against their view that assault, large magazines, and tumbling bullets should be widely available in society so that the increasing number of village idiots can get hold of them and commit more mass murders. Gen McChrystal is the latest in a long list of leaders who have come out against the assault type weapons and large magazines. Of course, there no 2nd Amendment reason why individuals should be allowed to buy these mass murder weapons. But the gun lobby makes hundreds of millions by pushing mass murder weapons and they don’t want their money cut off…so people like the stone La Pierre continue to push absurd ideas like weapons in schools, etc. The bulk of the NRA’s memebers even want tighter restrictions.
@dd It’s pretty apparent usa4 8’s lives on the newscorpse website where they probably even tuck him in at night. I guess I’m going to have to relegate him to Mark2’s list as not to be read.
I did that a long time ago. I put him on the suspected George Soros troll list and stopped reading after 3-4 posts. I sometime get a hint of what is posting by others response to him. I love, love love, 66′s usual response to him—-lol–perfectly appropriate.
I should learn to copy posts before I post them just in case. I am a very slow learner and a fast forgetter.
@1966
The last time I did ‘The Name Game’, it was a request for the name ‘Chuck’.
@Apple@1966
The last time I did ‘The Name Game’, it was a request for the name ‘Chuck’.
Now that’s funny!! That song was fun wasn’t it? What one could come up with–
Gabby Giffords and Mark Kelly are launching a responsible lobby to counter the NRA lobby. They are gun owners like many other people but recognize there is absolutely no reason for individuals to have weapons of mass murder. Would the NRA sanction the IHG, an individual’s hand grenade which can be carried in a concealed fashion and if needed can be thrown where ever……. Remember, hand grenades don’t kill, people throwing hand grenades kill…….

Hey Rat–Obama won by 5 million votes
the population of New yourk City is over 8 million! So 5 million votes is NOTHING!!!!!!
Obama won because he had an awesome campaign run by a campaign genius (Axlerod) NOT because he was the popular choice…………but you go on beleiving what you want.
PS usa, the Obama campaign STRATAGY was awesome not what Obama had to offer. The ground game won it for them and that was the genius of the campaign
No Rat–Obama won because he told the TRUTH—and Robme could not bend himself to properly articulate the warped ideas of the right wing GOP (which is at odds with the moderate GOP). He did articulate SOME of the ideas (the 47%), which got him into trouble. And, in spite of hundreds of millions of dolars of false advertising attempting to position Robme as pro middle class and Obama as against the middle class, it didn’t work for the right. It just goes to show if you advertise a million times that red is green and green is red, you won’t fool many people in spite of what P.T. Barnum said……………
Further, though there are few economists among the general population, the the GOP’s financial plan of cutting spending to the bone in a bad recession is recognized by anybody with the slightest cognitive ability as a recipe for disaster, i.e., further unemployment and much reduced economic activity…it would be like cutting of your water supply and thinking you wouldn’t die of thirst–seems simple enough but the right doesn’t get it……..
Just re-newed my NRA Membership
Note that most of the NRA memebers are for tighter gun laws but you won’t hear this from the NRA lobby…..
D.D., Like you as a young lady, I was pro choice but have changed my view. I wonder now if my view was more because of selfishness when I was younger.
I agree it doesn’t make legal sense to be able to convinced someone for murder in the death of the unborn. But allow the mother to do it legally.
Like they is more of a value to a wanted life then that of an unwanted life. What really doesn’t make sense to me is that liberals fight for equal opportunity for the poor once they are born. But fight for the mother’s right to k*ll them before their birth.
I dislike Planned P*renthood. In 1980 my high school pointed us to them if we had more questions about s*x. Being poor teenagers with our parents only telling us “sluts sleep around” and my grandma’s favorite “if you lay with dogs you are gonna get fleas.” my friends and I went to them for advice. Their advice was, have s*x use condoms, if you get pg you’ll get rid of it. You’re not a slut if you sleep around. No one will think less of you. If you respect your body, you’ll enjoy it and let others enjoy it. We were fourteen and they knew it.
If a stranger on the street told a fourteen year old this, they would be arrested for child endangerment.
Truth is what you make it, in some peoples eyes.
@USA8888
Where is the link that supports most NRA support tighter controls
What is a assault weapon
What is a high captivity magazine
In your opinion that is.
Dang weather, had to shift to shorts and a tank top and put the A/C on in the trailer

In terms of judging ratings, I don’t think the past 2 weeks is a good period to judge things due to the holidays, by the end of this week we will get a better idea where all stations stand(ie not vacation time, no real major things going on, etc).
Wait until Monday. Ratings winners will be Football, Football, Football.

Nothing to do with your point , other than the truth is fact. It is just hard to find.

I really do not care one way or the other, as you know. But, old people always want to tell the young how to live. I am old.
