@USA8888
Again with the supposed National survey.
You still have not provide a link to the last one you claimed. Not another one. The most recent one I can find in from July 12, 2012

Get a grip bubba, check facts for yourself.

@ 50 outside right now, no black ice but PLENTY of heavy rain till Sunday then the Bottom drops and Winter FULLY arrives….
I look at it this way, by Sunday we have almost made it half way through January! That just saved almost two months of potential winter. That gives us only a month in a half of real bad potential so right now we are the winners!!
@redbarsoap,
Do you believe most of what you read on the internet? The internet was created by a collection of scientist. Yes, ARPANET. Which had rules guided by a moral code that did not allow anything close to p*rn on the system. Numerous chats, data streams, video streams were used way before p*rn hit the net. The internet was first opened to businesses before the general public. These businesses did businesses to businesses payment transactions that created the credit card and bank payment systems used by ebay, amazon and others today. The first commercial movies streamed over the internet (because scientist had stream video) were used by standard (not xxx) movie theaters for downloading movies.
The only thing p*rn can be given credit for is the increase in bandwidth because of demand. The unfounded information you stated has been circling the web in order to justify p*rns place on the internet.
I don’t deny that p*rn is big business on the internet. Nor do I fight for it’s removal. But let us be truthful, p*rn role in the internet’s creation was zero, it’s role in the advancement is very minor it any at all.
Good Morning everyone.
@coffee, because other countries are always developing new systems is why I always hate military spending cuts. When it comes to the military, I always think of WW II. FDR and congress had really cut military spending even-though there was a war in Europe. If a storm hadn’t delayed our carriers return to Pearl Harbor. The war in the Pacific would have been hopeless.
For some reason Americans believe that we entered the war and won it for the our Allies. This is far from true. The U.S. was losing the war in Europe until Normandy. That’s 2 1/2 years that we were losing. We didn’t enter the war strong because our military was not ready.
I would rather have a strong military and not need it. When will liberals understand that wanting a strong military doesn’t mean you have to use it.
Morning Ratboy, hope the other drivers didn’t cause you problems today. My favorite driver are the ones with 4 wheel drive. They think they can handle anything. But black ice means no traction on any of your wheels.
One last thought before I go.
So the liberals and the democrats on here and other sites keep pointing out how much smarter their party’s supports are then the Republicans.
Then they tell republicans that they lost the election because they didn’t get the Hispanic, black, single woman, or under 22 vote. The groups stated are the four most under educated groups in our country.
So, if the most under educated groups of Americans voted democratic. How can liberals and democrats be more educated then Republicans?
I mean think about it. Romney only lost by 4%. The four groups list our 42% of Obama’s core base.
Liberals remind me of Homer, “I am so smart. S.M.R.T. I mean S M A R T.”

I have 4×4 but on the ice I click into auto 4 wheel drive jst for the extra edge of one of 4 wheels finding non-icy road. But I slow down and take extra caution rather than speed up because I am “protected” by 4×4
Dont you love when liberals call the afgan war and the iraq war Bushs’ War…like congress didnt vote to fund it, like hillary didnt incite it as well, as did hosts of other dems with the same intelligence at hand…but when bengazzi gave us supposedly bad intel in wasnt obamas detraction? we are americans and those wars were american battles with american soldiers….period!!
@Cathy
I fully agree on the Military Cuts Comment. The only thing I agree with the left is we should also streamline the budget and keep a close eye on the cost.
@Ratboy
Just got an emial from a buddy thats a lefty. he’s alittle upset, he did his taxes yesterday and as we all know the past 2 years they have taken less out on Social Security taxes. Wellllll…This year the old rate is in effect and since less has been taken out but you have the old rate back in its about 1400 less on average that most American’s will get back on refunds this year.
I told him, what did you expect? For them not to recover the funds? Welcome to reality 101
Speaking of Taxes, I like retirement, I’m not going to owe 4000 this year
7th Grade Math now is like what I had in my Freshmen year, man these kids are quick learners these days

Well I can not say the same!! I do have my accountant doing some (and has already done some) things to split things into smaller chunks and place some things with my kids now as opposed to later. If he did not do that the additional tax would be substantial!!
I am looking at ways to change my investments around because the additional cap gains cuts into the margins to the point of “maybe the investment way is not the way to go”.
I have decided to not do or do very little consulting this year. Mostly because after the taxing, at my age why bother. I will do just enough to give to my favorite charities such as Wounded Warriors, JDF, and MD. I dont want to cheat them just because Obama doesnt have a clue!
My son told me to chuck it all and enjoy but I think I might go nuts!

@ratboy, I don’t mean to make it sound like all 4 wheel drive owners are nutty drivers. We have two 4 wheel drive trucks. They make driving safer as long as you remember nothing stops on ice.
I made all my money from consulting and I’ll be cutting back too, because of taxes. I can’t believe the number of people who believe that increase in taxes wouldn’t cause people to decrease their work hours. I don’t know about you’re line of consulting but for me their aren’t enough people who can do my line of work so companies are just going to have to wait.
@coffee, I agree with having over site on all spending.
Oh, btw. Monday numbers are posted.
