Univision Broadcast Prime Highlights - Week of December 31, 2012 to January 6, 2013

  • · Univision was the #3 network during primetime last week among Adults 18-34, out-performing ABC and CBS.

 

  • · Among Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49, Univision ranked #1 on Tuesday and #2 each night Wednesday through Saturday

 

  • · Univision out-delivered three or more of the English-language broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX) on five out of seven nights among Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49.

 

  • · On Monday night (New Year’s Eve), Univision ranked as the #4 network among Adults 18-49, out-delivering FOX. Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 10 programs for Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49; top 15 for Total Viewers 2+.

 

ü At 7 p.m., Univision aired “Festival Acapulco: Juan Gabriel,” a concert featuring the Mexican superstar performing his biggest hits. The special averaged 2.3 Million Total Viewers 2+, 1.0 Million Adults 18-49, and 397,000 Adults 18-34.

ü At 10 p.m., following “Festival Acapulco,” was Univision’s New Year’s Eve special “Feliz Ano 2013.” The live coast to coast celebration featured performances from superstars such as Yuri, Pee Wee, and Roberto Tapia. The first portion of the program, airing 10 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., averaged 2.3 Million Total Viewers 2+, 1.1 Million Adults 18-49, and 477,000 Adults 18-34.

 

  • · On Tuesday night, Univision rose to #1 among Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49 and #3 for Total Viewers 2+, out-delivering ABC and FOX in each demographic. Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 10 programs for Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49; top 15 for Total Viewers 2+.

 

  • · On Wednesday night, Univision ranked as the #2 network among Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49 and #4 for Total Viewers 2+, out-delivering FOX in each demographic. Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 10 programs for Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49; top 15 for Total Viewers 2+.

 

  • · On Thursday night, Univision ranked #2 among Adults 18-34, Adults 18-49, and Total Viewers 2+, out-delivering ABC, NBC, and FOX in each demographic. Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 10 programs for each demographic.

  • · Airing “Sabado Gigante” (Giant Saturday), Univision ranked #2 among Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49 and #3 among Total Viewers 2+. “Sabado Gigante” saw increases over the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (2.5 Million, +9%), Adults 18-49 (1.1 Million, +26%), and Adults 18-34 (465,000, +18%). “Sabado Gigante” also ranked among the top 5 programs for Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49; top 10 for Total Viewers 2+.
  • · On Sunday night, Univision’s entire primetime lineup ranked among the top 20 programs for Adults 18-49 and Total Viewers 2+.

 

ü At 7 p.m., Unvision aired “Aqui y Ahora” (Here and Now), which attracted 1.9 Million Total Viewers 2+, 731,000 Adults 18-49, and 262,000 Adults 18-34.

ü At 8 p.m., “Rosa de Guadalupe” (Rose of Guadalupe) attracted 2.1 Million Total Viewers 2+, 887,000 Adults 18-49, and 395,000 Adults 18-34.

ü Following “Rosa” at 10 p.m., “Sal y Pimienta” (Salt and Pepper) saw increases over the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (2.4 Million, +34%), Adults 18-49 (1.1 Million, +28%), and Adults 18-34 (458,000, +10%).

 

  • · At 8 p.m., Univision’s novela “Por Ella Soy Eva” (For Her, I’m Eva) helped Univision rank as the #1 network for the hour (M-F) among Adults 18-34, #2 Adults 18-49 and #4 Total Viewers 2+. “Por Ella Soy Eva” saw increases over the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (4.4 Million, +18%), Adults 18-49 (2.2 Million, +18%), and Adults 18-34 (1.1 Million +23%).

 

  • · Univision’s 9 p.m. novela “Amores Verdaderos” (True Love) helped Univision rank as the #1 network among Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49 for the hour (M-F). “Amores Verdaderos” saw increases over the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (4.9 Million, +12%), Adults 18-49 (2.6 Million, +13%), and Adults 18-34 (1.3 Million +17%).

 

  • · Univision’s 10 p.m. novela “Amor Bravio” (Fierce Love) helped Univision rank as the #1 network for the hour (M-F) among Adults 18-34 and #4 for Adults 18-49. “Amor Bravio” saw increases over the prior week among Total Viewers 2+ (4.0 Million, +8%), Adults 18-49 (2.0 Million, +6%), and Adults 18-34 (950,000, +3%).
