    you are wrong.

Also, always rounding 5 up was something that they tought you in grade school to make it easy, that’s not actually how you round things in the real world. Although, in this case it is completely irrelevant, because there’s virtually no chance that Castle’s rating was actually 1.9500.

  • BigFlop

    ultima, si eres la ultima,
i know the exactly number of every show, every day and every half hour.

  • Ultima

    you are wrong.

You’ve never heard of significant figures?

  • silvit

You are wasting your time it seems. ;-)

  • Ultima

i know the exactly number of every show, every day and every half hour.

But then you would know that Nielsen doesn’t caculate the rating by averaging the half hours… they average the minutes.

  • silvit

How? So do you know the raw 18-49 numbers that Castle had? Please enlighten us. I’m curious. :-)

  • Ultima

You are wasting your time it seems.

Apparently so was Big Flop’s math teacher… ;)

  • Chris

Castle can’t manage 2.0, even with H50 a repeat, and NBC burning off a show we all know is not going to be around long.

It can’t help but fall from its demo lead-in. One of the oldest-skewing shows in TV history. I bet Lawrence Welk was younger-skewing than Castle. :D

  • BigFlop

ah i love bones numbers on TNT, congratulation for season 9!! what happens with those actors, is there anybody who wants to hire them to star in a movie? nop
ahh, but emily is going to win the PCA and bones too. congratulations in advance. :P
    h50 rules!

    NBC burning off a show

The fifty ads I saw for it the past two weekends indicates that NBC doesn’t think of it as a burn off…

One of the oldest-skewing shows in TV history

More than 25% of Castle’s audience is in the demo. That’s not even remotely close to how old some shows skew.

  • David Howell

Episode 2 will be the test for Deception.

If it hovers in the high 1s, it might be good for a Revolution timeshare. The only problem with that is it’s a long old route to syndication that way.

Of course, if Revolution does a FlashForward and has a post-hiatus collapse, Deception could get a full season order hovering in the high 1s…

don’t know why you give Chris the time of your day. this person is just a bad Castle hater. check each and every comment section about Monday’s ratings and you’ll see Chris there, hating on Castle.

    seriously, hater, get a life.

  • BigFlop

not only Chris, silvit, too. they love Bones and hate Castle.
Castle take from Bones millions of fans and also Castle have more audience and ratings than bones, and last year Castle won the PCA, so their hate for Castle is understandable.

  • BigFlop

    i mean *hatred

I think Deception has become my new guilty pleasure. Yes it’s soapy & cheesy but that’s what makes it so much fun. I think in time it could be even more fun to watch than Revenge which is becoming more convoluted by the week. I will miss the little watched Mob Dr but at least they had a satisfying ending.

  • Flavs

good that you are able to hold a healthy discussion =D

and these folks like Chris and silvit need to get a life. it’s okay to love a show and feel protective about it, but to come here, week after week, to bash something? that’s a lot of life-wasting.

so, Bones fans, I really love Castle and used to love Bones (still like it though, and watch it), but don’t come here do start this hatefest. Bones was just renewed, a healthy life of long 9 seasons… so can’t we just be? come here, see the numbers, start a healthy discussion… but cut the BS! it’s just annoying and really petty.

  • silvit

Yes, Chris and I love a silly procedural. :-) The funny thing is that we didn’t even mention Bones. And god, Castle winning the PCA was such an important thing that people forgot who even won the American election. Because things like a silly show winning an idiotic award are the things to be happy/upset about… Right, Chris?

  • silvit

Taken from my post in the Wednesday cable ratings:

LOL at your hyperdefensiveness… I actually can’t stand Bones -or at least the 3-4 episodes I watched, I couldn’t take it anymore-: the cheesy jingle music behind every scene, the cardboard man, the stupid psychology 101, the silly cases, the fake environment, the idiotic will they/won’t they -well, when there still was that- and most of all, I find the title character annoying. She should just shut up.
How is that for a fan of the show? ;-)Now I expect insults from the Bones’ fans.

BigFlop is making things up, like the Nielsen conspiracy against Castle. Or do you believe that?

Just because she thinks we are Bones fans it doesn’t make it true ;-) Far from it.

  • BigFlop

is it embarrasing for you to say that you are a Bones’s fans? :P
