NBC Leads Among Adults 18-49 and With Total Viewers in Week 15 Ending January 6, 2013

In week 15 of the broadcast television season ending Sunday, January 6, 2013, NBC came in first place among adults 18-49 with a 2.7 rating average.  FOX came in second with a 2.3. CBS was third with a 1.6 and ABC was fourth with a 1.4 average.  The CW finished last with a 0.4 adults 18-49 rating average.

NBC won the week with total viewers, with 8.39million viewers, ahead of second place CBS with 8.29 million viewers. FOX was third with 6.84 million.  ABC was fourth with 5.07 million followed by  the CW with 1.23 million.

Each adults 18-49 rating point is a percentage of the adults 18-49 US TV population and equals 1.265 million adults 18-49.

    13 of 15, two of which were ties with CBS.

    The weeks that they lost were World Series week (FOX) and Survivor finale week (CBS).

    And, you know, every week from now until May! ;)

    Thanks for the info. It will be interesting to see if they can hang on to come in second for the season. If not, it still will be better than the last several seasons I would think.

    The thing that’s helped NBC this season is that scripted shows are down across the board to such an extent that the SNF boost is bigger than ever.

    Unfortunately for NBC, Sunday Night Football Isn’t all year long.
